    What exactly do the Financial Fair Play rules cover. I've been reading that PSG owners are giving Neymar the money to buy out his contract with Barca.

    They've got a few years to account for the cost, they've just got to avoid losses of more than 30 million over three seasons. They were already able to spend upwards of 200 million this season without breaching FFP so should be fine with a few sales.

    I'm still genuinely shocked this Neymar transfer has happened. Far from Barcelona's biggest fan but what a step down that is, * *. Clubs will now ask Barca for a lot more £££ now cause they know how much they've got through this.

    I mind when FM tried to act like real life "Realistic transfer system" After a couple of seasons it always got stupid with the value of Regens and youth talent.


    Now, Real life seems to be trying to give FM a run for its money.



    No one will sell to Barcelona on the cheap now. Every single player just got an extra £20mill added to their value.
    Though if they a smart, they could get 4 players in for that money and do some serious * damage in La Liga and Europe again.

    They're already close to topping the La Liga limit of 70% of turnover on wages, they'll be lucky to get two players in of a similar calibre to Neymar unless they get rid of squad players.

    I can see PSG making that really easy for them. :giggle1:

    It's mental that any player would cost that amount of money and be worth it. Does anybody think that PSG could win the CL?

    I don't think Neymar alone tips them over the line or anything, still need a lot of work imo. Defensively they've shat the bed in Europe too many times to be trusted, not to mention getting given the run around by Monaco in the league last season.

    It's a very good team but needs a couple more elite players to put them up there with Bayern/Madrid/Barca. Obviously with the talent there they have a chance of the CL but wouldn't bet on them.
