    Domestically, absolutely.

Europe has been a bit of a different story though.

3 against Red Imps in 2 games
1 in open play in 2 games vs Astana
0 against Barcelona in 2 games
0 from open play against Monchengladbach in 2 games.
    0 against Rosenborg last week.

We can absolutely turn it on though. Just sometimes there is a lot of effort with a bit of a lack of creativity.

I can think of at least 10 opportunities we had to score at Celtic Park.

Christ, putting Barca in there was a bit harsh. I would never expect us to score against them tbh.

Could also say 4 goals in 2 games v Man City and 5 in one game V Hapoel.

The games against Red Imps and Astana were so early into the Rodgers reign that I don't really have a problem with us not scoring all that many. Makeshift team.

3 or those games are before we are up to speed and lacking match sharpness

We will create chances in this game, couldn't be surer of that.

Under Rodgers we have scored so many more goals away from home. I'm feeling a little more confident than I was last Wednesday but as always in Europe away I know how the script is written

Stop this "in open play" *, all that proves is we were causing problems in their box. Only game we have failed to score in over 2 legs under Brendan is Barca, and we missed a penalty and all sorts. We're guaranteed a goal on Wednesday,we just either have to keep it very secure at the back or keep going for more goals

We were but we played awful. We're much more capable than what we showed.

The Celtic Park result was huge. We take no advantage to Norway and you missed a couple of sitters.

It's on a knife edge but l think Rosenborg will need two or three goals to go through. It'll be an interesting and nervy night.

    Gordon

    Lustig
    Ajer
    Simunovic
    Tierney

    Brown
    Armstrong

    McGregor
    Rogic
    Sinclair

    Griffiths

Would like to see McGregor on the right because I think he contributes a lot more than Forrest. Would bring Hayes and Benyu on late in the game if we are needing them.

    That's the case now though?

I don't see it as a massive issue. I know our defence gets a bit of criticism but I think it's fairly tight. Wouldn't be shocked at a clean sheet. We're generally quite tight at the back in qualifiers.

Agree. I saw the home leg as a bad result. But not conceding really keeps the ball in our court

Yeah, in all honesty I think Rosenberg know they cant play like they did last week as we may have Griff back, Rodgers would have learned lot from the last game and likely put Sinclair or Hayes uptop and leave Rogic in his favoured position if Griff isn't back.

They know they can't sit back and defend because if they do that and leave it to late and we end up scoring late in 2nd their * as a score draw is worthless to them.

After seeing how our team adapted and showed signs of what it can do when rogic dropped back into his role, I'd imagine we'd start like that and albeit a friendly if we start McGregor his confidence is gonna be sky high right now.

    We score we are through.

If we play anything like what we're capable of it won't even be close, they don't have the quality to deal with us.

An early goal and the tie is over IMO, we have to come out the blocks far better than we did in the home tie.

I tend to agree with your outlook there. The key really for us as disappointing drawing the home leg was is that we didn't give up an away goal. That is huge for us especially if we can score first on Wednesday night.

I'm inclined to think it might be an open game, feel like we might storm it and do usual of going 2-0 away from home quickly and then they peg us back 2-2 and make it a little nervy but we still go through.

Then once it's confirmed that we are through I could see us getting Roberts in for fair fee and then maybe one other player, maybe someone the level of Caulker if not the man himself.

Is this game 7.45 or 6.15pm, getting conflicting times?

To be fair I dont see any reasons to be worried about you lot either.

You may rue those missed chances.
