    My extra-curricular mind activites are doing some extra shifts tonight,

    i'LL TELL THEE A STORY!

    wOUND UP A LIBERIAN-INDIAN MAN YEARS AGO AT WORK, TOLD HIM HE HAD TO GO SORT OUT A LEAK UNDER A SINK. i PLANTED A REAL LEEK UNDER IT.

    HE CAME BACK AND SAID "I COULDN'T FIND A LEAK, BUT I FOUND THIS STRANGE OBJECT" AS HE STOOD GLORY-HANDED WITH ONE OF WALES' FINEST LEEKS IN HIS HAND!

    TREMENDOUS!!!!

    Not sure this is the right place for this, but is sure as * doesn't warrant its own thread. I passed my CFA level 2 exam today, or more accurately I passed when I received the confirmation email on Tuesday but didn't have the stones to open it until an hour ago :giggle1:

    I doubt anyone has a clue what that means, to try an put it in perspective it's meant to be the hardest exam in finance (although I would treat that claim with a bit of skepticism, I don't think many people really tend to try them all) and took me the best part of 12 months of borderline obsessive revision (and two attempts) to finally nail.

    It may surprise a lot of you here given the unwavering knowledge I display on this forum, but I don't actually test well at all. I basically have to graft harder than all of my colleagues/peers to get similar results. There are some people who simply test well despite not being the brightest, and I'm not one of them.

    All this means fuckall in the bigger picture, and means nothing to anyone outside of the investment industry, but a massive win for me personally. It's also a massive GIRFUY to the Oxbridge/silver spoon brigade that I work with who failed :yeah::RedFinger
