Poor performance not gonna lie but its not all bad. Tonight we were missing 4 players who could have made an impact. Gamboa's pace could have really helped and we missed Boyatas threat at set pieces. And also Griffiths and Dembele for obvious reasons. We also stopped them getting an away goal which gives us a huge advantage if we score over there.

how many times do we, infact all scottish sides struggle at this time in europe and usually we are all playing teams that are already well into their season

can we not start the league earlier or would this mean we lose the chance to buy good players

i think there is no doubt we all struggle early on in these games because we are not competition ready

    thoughts guys ?

We can certainly score a few over there especially now because they have to open up.

Disgusted we didn't manage to grab a goal but delighted we didn't concede. Though the ref was an absolute weapon.

I think tonight proves what we all knew going into the game.... we need more than two strikers ffs

Not the greatest result but certainly not the worst.

Not even close, pal. 1-1 v the knuckledraggers was worse than this. Rosenborg is a good team, much better than Aberdeen and Malmø for that sake. It was a much harder draw than people realize. SPFL and Eliteserien are on par quality wise and we where up against the very best team from Norway. We'll be better off with our strikers back.

Maybe too confident, and that's our chance to get at least a score draw

I want to know why we only have 2 strikers at the whole club

obviously we don't have any at youth level or they could have played tonight

Think we will lose away if we play like that. Ffs Dundalk gave this mob a game over two legs. We was atrocious all game to say how much of the ball we had. Rogic and Armstrong were *. Sinclair wasn't in the game at all. Ajer was composed but too slow on the ball when in possession. And going into this without a recognised striker is a joke for a club our size.

Atmosphere was the worst I've heard in a long time at Celtic park for obvious reasons. Rosenborg didnt looked troubled at all.

Going by our away record in Europe it looks like the Europa league qualifiers for us after next week. Sure hope I'm wrong though. We should be comfortably seeing off these kind of teams but it's the same every year.

Negativity towards us aside, bendtner was * atrocious. If that's their main goal threat i don't worry too much for next week. That big CB or theirs possibly being out would be a bonus too.

They came not to lose , it worked , they were sharper than us and tbh if they were more attacking they could have killed this tie,
It's still all to play for , we need to tighten up as they will have more chances but I feel we may get more space over ther ,was disappointing tonight ,focus took of the game with all the * behind the scenes ,yes the gb were missed tonight and yes I feel it impacted on our performance .

Forrest went off. At least he was challenging players. Most of the team treated it as a pre season game for 70mins.

Hayes off the bench and still probably our MOTM
