At least this result gives the handwringers something else to complain about.

Well, this is a reality check. Absolutely miserable performance. We have these now and again, but we literally CANNOT afford to have it now in these games.

CL is EVERYTHING to this club. We get the money, the exposure, players see us and want to come. If we let this slip through our hands after the Invincible season, well, I don't know. Seemed gutless tonight.

Not one player going forward performed. Worried for next week.

Rogers looks livid

 

Holy *!! I don't think they are better than us, I think the fact that they are halfway through their season and we haven't even begun is the difference. We look so tired and heavily lacking in match sharpness. They are full of stamina and shutting us down in important areas.

Lack of a striker was an issue, no focal point
Some reluctance from Rodgers to change thing also a problem. Tactics were poor imo as was formation.

I'm still confident in progressing. They need to score and we are good on the counter. We had loads of possession and done heehaw with it. So let them come

Pish poor tonight. Too many players off form. Positive is that we kept a clean sheet.

 

Frustrating night. We'll beat them in Norway. They had the chances tonight that we will get over there. We only need a score draw over there. We'll get through this tie and get up to speed for the coming games.

We were poor all over the pitch tonight. But we might of had one up front but clear to see we didnt have a striker. No one making runs or creating space. Their defenders played the full game with everything and everyone ij front of them. It was easy for them.

 

Well considering our away record in the CL that will be us out then..that mob r pish and they should a scores 2 or 3 against us..were the fu k is aww this money we bang oan about to get a decent CB and playmaker
