We have to play our strongest most experienced team here, no room for * about, sinclair up front, i would not play Ncham, on bench and play the established players, we cant take any chances here, our midfield are very capable of scoring, must be established team as much as possible!

I have sportsmania and distinctly remember they have Norwegian channels on there but for the life of me can't remember the channels name, fair bet it will be on there.

I saw Ajer a few times in that UEFA Youth League last season at Cappielow and at an away one at Man City, didn't do much for me in truth and expected more from him judging by what I'd read previous.

Hopefully I didn't see the best of him and if he plays tomorrow he will do us proud, I will put my faith in Brendan's judgement as always

I still don't understand why Celtic won't sell the rights when they need every penny going!

The only thing Celtic are doing there is preventing people streaming it.

Actually loosing money to prevent people streaming it - madness.

I don't quite buy the argument that streaming reduces the numbers we get at home. I can't think of anyone who goes often that would stay home if there was a chance to stream it online

KRISTOFFER AJER is on standby for a shock Champions League start to shackle Rosenborg danger man Nicklas Bendtner.

Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers faces a crock crisis — with midfield ace Tom Rogic set to play as a striker if Moussa Dembele can’t beat a thigh injury.

Erik Sviatchenko is a major doubt, and it looks like rookie Ajer, 19, will partner Jozo Simunovic in central defence.

Norwegian Ajer played just 30 minutes against Lincoln Red Imps last season before spending the second half of the campaign on loan at Kilmarnock.

Now the 6ft 5ins youngster could step in if Rodgers reverts to a back four.

The Celtic boss used a back three against Linfield last week, but may change to combat his opponents’ 4-3-3 system.

Mikael Lustig or Kieran Tierney could play centrally, but the Hoops are short of cover in the full-back areas.

Left-back Emilio Izaguirre has gone and right-back Cristian Gamboa is sidelined by an injury.

That leaves rookie Tony Ralston as the only other real alternative for Rodgers.

Rodgers also has problems in attack, with Leigh Griffiths banned and Dembele suffering from a thigh strain.

Rodgers hinted that Aussie ace Rogic will be asked to step up and play as a ‘false No9’ should Dembele be ruled out.

Rodgers said: “Moussa is a doubt so we could be going into the game without our two main strikers.

“Would I take a risk? It’s about looking at where he is at. If it’s a big risk, it might be taken out of my hands.

“Players are never going to be fully fit at this stage and these are big games, but if it’s too big a risk, then I wouldn’t do it.

“It has happened so we have to find a way, and we have done that a number of times last year.

“Tactically we look at the team, how can you find a way to play, and then quickly pull together a strategy and a plan that can get you a result.

“I did a number of things last year. I played Scott Sinclair up front with Patrick Roberts, who was brilliant.

“Some people may have noticed in the Partick Thistle game back in May for the last half hour I played Tom Rogic up there.

“I was planning forward, thinking ‘what if’. That was Tom as a false No9. So we will see.

“Playing that way can give you superiority. We didn’t have a striker at Hearts last season and we scored five.

“We’ve got Rogic who scores, Sinclair who scores, James Forrest chips in, Stuart Armstrong can score goals.

“We have enough scorers in there, just because it’s not a traditional striker doesn’t mean you can’t score.

“You just have to find a different way if that is the case.”

It's a toss up between him and Eric as to who would be the better choice. I don't think there's a massive gulf in ability between the two

Ajer has the height advantage, will be able to match him in the air.

Would have no worries about him starting tbh, he's faced these players numerous times back in Norway.
