Just a thought but saw on another forum someone suggesting Armstrong at right back. Didn't Rodgers call him the White Cafu one time. Don't know if he will be brave enough to play him there in such an important game but thought it was an interesting point.

Not having our two main strikers isn't ideal....but we have goals in us right through the team....We have more than enough about us to beat this lot.....Chill out.

I notice nobody has suggested Ciftci as the answer to our problems :93:

"White Cafu" aye right haha it was the Blonde Cafu, and aye i forgot all about that. Weird he's not been given a chance in that position since.

I like the idea of Rogic up top and Sinclair running past him.
I can't see this game being a problem at all, they are no better than Dundee.

I wouldn't play Rogic up top because I'd question his ability to adapt to playing with his back to goal & his physical presence.

    Gordon
    Lustig - Erik - Jozo - KT
    Brown - Ntcham
    Forrest - Rogic - Hayes
    Sinclair

Ciftci needs to be on the bench just in case.
If Erik is unfit, Lustig to central & McGregor in, Ralston on the bench.
Armstrong can also sit on the bench until a contract is signed as far as I'm concerned.

We should be able to beat these even if Brendan were to start Ciftci.

:giggle1::giggle1::giggle1::giggle1: I though white cafu sounded a bit racist for BR to ocme out with. Blonde Cafu is much better :giggle1::giggle1:

We are going to dominate the ball anyway, have Sinclair, Forrest and Armstrong running off him. I think his touches at the edge of the box would cause havoc and leaves Sinclair free to find space.

BR should use Craig Leveins tactics against the Czechs.
