We should be winning this game comfortably with or without the green brigade.

For someone who likes to mention how little Celtic receive from TV money every opportunity he gets ,lawwell sure likes to restrict the amount of people able to watch their team

Norwegian Football analyst Perry Sykes reckons it should be a comfortable tie for us. The striker who used play in EPL while dangerous is slow and he mentioned few other danger men for them but he says they wouldn't start for Celtic. Said it should be a forgone conclusion in the first leg also said Rosenborg teams are not the same teams of the late 90s and the can only command transfer signatures around the 1 million mark nowadays they had financial problems in the past and are still rebuilding for Europe with a firm grip on domestic football anything in Europe is a bonus.

I listened to that as well. Saying Celtic were better in every department but that Rosenborg can still cause problems.

Over two legs we should have enough to go through but it will be a lot tougher than Linfield thats for sure.

Yeah would make you slightly confident but if Celtic turn up with their capabilities then we should win but still no walk in the park.

Only thing that worries me is that Rosenborg and FC Copenhagen are by Far the best scandinavian sides, and we had trouble with Elfsborg, Helsingborg and obviously Malmö.. But i think that Rodgers will have us playing better this early in the season then Lennon and Deila.

Rosenborg are much worse than copenhagen imo, i would of put them on par with malmo but after malmo's poor euro run this year i guess they're a little better, and we didn't have trouble with helsingborg or even elfsborg imo. This won't be an easy tie but with rodgers in charge i think it'll be more comfortable than some realise.

Trouble might been to much to say but away we were very lucky to be honest! Atleast by the looks of it from the stands. We Should smash Rosenborg, but the only worrying thought is that Rosenborg would smash the Swedish teams we faced.

They didn't smash Dundalk though did they? A Dundalk side significantly weaker than the team last year which performed admirably in the EL.

I will ask this question in here.

The GB have been red carded for 2 games , what is happening to their tickets for each game ?? can they be given to other fans who have no allegiance to the GB, i know a lot of sweetie rustlers would want them, then again so will some of us AULD * want them. Or is the section been put into quarantine for these two games, so that other UEFA fearing fans will not be infected by the abhorrent behaviour of our ostracised brethern.

I'm sure the club said at the start of last season, they can't sell the standing section seats to anybody other than the season card holder. So think they will be empty

The players have to do it themselves no matter what.

I remember last year after the MC game, the players believed all the hype of the CP atmosphere going into the 'that German team' game and then our players never showed up, next thing we were 2 nil down in no time.

Totally disagree. We were maybe slightly lucky to come away with a 2 goal lead from the first leg , but at home we totally dominated the game. You can't win 4-0 on aggregate and say it was lucky.
