If we've got our shooting boots on I fancy us to kill the tie in the first leg.

We can't underestimate this mob. I mean, they've got a good striker in Bendtner up front and will come to CP, with the intention of sitting back and trying to nick an away goal.

Yes, they're miles away from the Rosenborg of old but they're a big test, little bit anxious. Hopefully, we'll score early and take a bit pressure off. They'll be more scared of us than us them, if we play our pressing, high energy Football, I think we'll win 3-0.

We've got such an arsenal of weapons with Rogic, Forrest, Sinclair, Armstrong etc. They can't mark one too tightly as it'll leave space for the others to penetrative them.

So enjoyable watching Celtic right now

I would much rather have the away leg first as that will be the great unknown. I think we should be fine at celtic park and a 2 0 type win should be enough. But even a 1 0 or 2 1 would lead to nerves in the away leg.

That said without knowing much about them, I assumed Rosenborg would take care of dundalk much easier than they did so it might be straight forward.

I predicted a close win in Belfast (tick) and a comfortable one in Glasgow (tick).

Giving an opinion about a score and explaining why you think that will happen is seldom seen as trolling.

I'd start Armstrong over Ntcham for this tie. Probably same lineup as Linfield away. Rogic over McGregor.

Progression is the only thing that matters. Unless we thrash someone en route no one will remember in years to come how we got to the group stages only that we did.

Maybe it was, maybe it wasn't but would you like to point out where my prediction of a far narrower win than widely being predicted was wrong?

As much as i'd like it to be i can't see this tie being over after the 1st leg. The top Scandinavian teams are rarely pushovers and what they sometimes lack in technique and subtlety they make up for with their fitness, physique and determination. I imagine Rosenborg will come and park the bus and look to hit us on the break or from a set-piece. A clean sheet is vital for us. If i had to predict the result i'd say 1-0 Celts. Hope i'm wrong but i can see the 2nd leg being a long night.

You said a narrow 2-1 or maybe even Linfield grabbing a win.

Instead we won 2-0 (you didn't predict) and battered them the whole game (you didn't predict).

So which part of 2-0 isn't a narrower win than the 4-5 goal winning margins being widely predicted and where did I comment on how the game would unfold?

I'll find the quote later, but you 100% predicted "either a very narrow 2-1 win or maybe even Linfield grabbing the win", so your prediction was entirely, 100% wrong.

Oooo, so where as most were predicting scores of 4-5 goal winning margins my 1 goal out makes me wrong here!!!

Just admit that I got it more right than most on here.

It was in the final result and not once did I predict how the game would unfold only that Linfield would play above their natural level...

Methinks I got closer to predicting the correct outcome than most on here.

watched the Rosenberg v Dundalk game last night and by going what I seen we should comfortably put 3 or 4 past them in the 1st leg.

You also predicted that Linfield players would play the "game of their lives" in the 1st leg. Well if that was the "game of their lives" then it doesn't bode well for them.

And you also backtracked on your comments during the 1st leg, when it wasn't as close contest as you thought.

It was a no-contest over both legs, something you had plenty to say to folk who thought that.

But aye, pat yourself on the back for a close win 2-0 ( 60% possession, 23 shots on goal etc)
