Sky Italy are reporting that Chelsea have agreed a deal for Morata.

Chelsea have now confirmed it.

Robertson to Liverpool for 8m. Ok, good deal for the Reds.

Some reserve player called Stewart who turns 24 at the start of the season going the opposite direction for the same price.

Don't think Robertson is anywhere near that level yet.

 

Robertson is exactly the player Liverpool need at left back.

 

Never rated him as a defender. He whips in an excellent cross but he's suspect at the back.

And we could have had Robertosn if we had been quicker off the mark long time ago.

 

Just as well we have a better left back instead then.

Interesting that RBL have knocked back Liverpool's €75m bid for Keita, a lot of money for someone with such little experience.

Yes I know. But we could have had two golden nuggets worth about 10M to play with. We were interested in Robertson before but didn't pursue it. Same with McCarthy.

 

Was Robertson not here as a youngster?

 

I think so. And we fucken let him go. What daft * let him go ?

 

Same, I don't really rate him bit of a kick and run in straight lines player whos ok at crossing but poor defensively. Not much different to Moreno who is a whipping boy for them the now. Quite cheap though so might end up providing decent back-up for years for them if they are to get a good left-back in future.

 

I do like him, not even close to kt though.

 

Solid player. One of the better crossers of the ball I can think of tbh. Not sure how he'll get on at Liverpool as I can't see him getting game time week in-week out.

Him and KT are about even IMO. I think Robertson's the better player going forward, while KT's better in his own half. I don't think you could go wrong with either of them up front in an attacking role, although I think Andy's crossing sets him apart. Defensively it's Tierney, hands down.

Both terrific players, and two that need to be playing together in the Scotland squad, rather than competing for one spot.

 

Really smart signing by Chelsea. With consistent game time under his belt, he has the potential to become world class..

 

Morata for less than Lukaku, seems very smart.
Who is this Keita guy ? He seems to have come out of nowhere to be one of the worlds most expensive players
