    Try explaining somewhere else in the world where sanity prevails why signalling the score of a match against a team not involved in the match at all justifies them throwing bottles on the pitch.

    Imagine we are playing HSV and when taking a corner the guys make a reference towards a match where they have beaten St Pauli heavily.

    What would happen? Our fans wouldn't give a *. In fact, the fans of any other club of any other country in any time of the history.

    This reminds me of the case in Netherlands where a guy invaded the pitch, the goalkeeper was sent off trying to defend himself, and the manager took the team out of the pitch, with later the red card being rescinded and the match replayed with a new referee because that one is obviously an idiot.

    Here? Here Armstrong had to rush and take the corners quickly to not be yellow carded.

    No real passion in our play. Looked uninspired by the whole occasion. And we ended up with a game that went through the motions after finishing the tie in the first twenty odd minutes. All the build up * talk, that let's face it was nearly all of the medias making. It robbed our fans of attending unrestricted and that was also a big factor why it felt more like a friendly. Roy Carroll was definitely the difference.

    Im usually very easy on referees and give them the beniit of the doubt most of the time but without exaggeration that is the most insane decision I can think of in recent history. Would love to hear his explanation.
