[Mafia] Mafia 9 - Town win

Sorry for being quiet lads didn't get to contribute yesterday as ODWC was lynched before I got the chance to post. Anyway I'm pretty sure Bogunda Cena and Anton are town. I think Borobob has been given too much of an easy ride so far and needs to be questioned more this phase. Deebo also has been very quiet which isn't like him but is similar to the previous game where he was very quiet and ended up being mafia. V says he's not had the chance to post and again I can't see any reason for him to be Mafia but he is a slippery wee * so watch out for him. I think Che is town too but not completely sure. And I have no clue about Idioteque or Larsson.

 

V always has an alibi to being somewhere and never having time to post , his modus operandi I think its called . when it gets close he magically appears with excuses , from memory this has been when he was mafia twice? and the sleekit brother .

 

I tell you what, I only really voted for you based on the vote against ODWC.

I'll retract it for now, only because someone else has cropped up and got me intrigued...

Definitely needs to be questioned though, we can't just let him coast through because he claims to have a role. He's experienced enough at this that he's probably able to pull a double bluff like that off.

 

In comparison I am experienced and with a more experienced set of players I would maybe pull something like that off but it wouldn't be proper to do it in this situation. I am town.

No I just don't want him to coast through just because he claims to have a role when he could quite easily be Mafia. Plus if the Mafia wanted him gone i think they'd have done it by now.

This coasting thing is bullshit, mafia have had one kill in 2 nights. Maybe it was a doctor that saved the kill last night (I hope it was) .Good chance it was me though. If everyone wants me to role claim I will but I aint doing it for you alone, especially when you are looking a bit dodgy yourself. Maybe after tonight I won't be around .

 

Look maybe your not mafia but you can see why I'm a bit suspicious and don't want you getting through to the latter stages just because you've role claimed. Also i can't help but wonder why you won't just come out and tell us what you are at this stage of the game.

 

I would expect you to be suspicious, it's what the games about. I said in an earlier post that if the game goes deep I will happily be a policy lynch (If I was in your shoes I wouldn't let me get to the last 3/4) .
As for not telling you my role, why would I let mafia have that advantage. I obviously aint a threat to town. My role will become clear soon.
I would advise that town concentrate on finding the remaining mafia.

 

I was keen for you to reveal your role as it would cause less confusion for the town as we just don't know what you are. Let's just see what the others think.

 

I don't think Ive been that quiet tbh but if I have seemed quieter than normal it's because I'm flat out correcting exams at the moment, I am checking thread every hour or so but haven't had as many chances to read through it in full like I normally would. Things usually become clearer when you read it all in the one go rather than in dribs and drabs.

Am unsure at the moment. I think I have a fair idea what Bob's role is (added by the fact no one else is claiming it) which tends to make me trust him at the moment. Outwith Bob I trust Che, Anton and Bogunda based on the way they have voted.

After that I'm not sure tbh.

 

I have a role that I think is safe to reveal, could help with clearing up why the mafia didn't kill last night and (possibly) the night before.

On night one it was clear that the mafia killed Keano, as they were specifically mentioned in the blurb from Minty. The second death of Obaf never had a name attached and the same goes for the death of Summertime. I'm not convinced that it was necessarily mafia that killed him because there was no mention of them by Minty.

I believe that the mafia may have attempted to kill me on nights 2 and 3 but have been thwarted because I am immune to them for the moment.

I have a role, which is powerless currently as "Role Backup". I won't find out my role until the person who currently has it is killed, but until then I am immune from mafia hits.

The reason I am revealing it right now is because I am.suspicious that Bob, who has clearly played the game extensively in the past is claiming similar powers, and that troubles me. I can't imagine us having two players immune when we've never had this role previously, but for all I know he may have something completely different.

 

Could you be 'role back up' to Borobob tho?
