I wouldn't argue against it in the slightest mate, we've got an incredible mentality under BR and haven't taken all that long a break either.

History shows we've never turned up to a qualifier with a settled Brendan Rodgers Celtic team.

I have only watched the one on Saturday. Wouldn't be the greatest surprise in the world if he did, however I would expect the team that started at the weekend will start on Friday.

Our strongest XI. Yeah that'll probably be the line up.

I don't think there's any chance it'll be a mere "professional" 1-0 or 2-1 like London Dub Celt is hoping for. Our flare and class will completely destroy them, 3-goal minimum victory here.

This match will not be close, they are an * club and we are full of internationalists and top quality players in top form. The only thing I'm worried about is getting our players and coaches out of Belfast safely after the thumping without any pitch invasions or other attacks.

I didn't know any of our players could be considered political enough to be classed as internationalists, is this based on Broony's Brexit joke at the POTY awards?

Think we could score a lot of goals at Windsor Park, then the home leg becomes a bit of a carnival.

As I have said elsewhere it's an opinion. Take it or leave it.

And I'm not sure what your "behind the sofa" comment was an attempt at saying but that's possibly because I'm much further from my school days than you and don't encounter childish taunts as often...

It was actually quite funny, I saw it on twitter at the time, it won't come across as well written down. Worth remembering the awards were the night after the 5-1 at the big hoose.

The boy hosting said 'yesterday was a massive day for you, how do you put that into words?'

Brown replied, I am paraphrasing here as I can't find it; ' It was absolutely huge, one of my happiest moments at the club we are all absolutely delighted for Mika to be able to stay in this country, here 5 years yesterday. Well done big man.'

He then cracked up laughing and walked off.

I had actually seen that clip you are speaking of but could hardly make a word of it out at the time. Belter :giggle1:

Can you point out where I have said that that's the outcome I hope for? You will see, if you bothered to read my posts properly, that I have said that I hope we thrash them but history and the opponent suggests another outcome is just as likely.

If you can't name a minimum of 10 occasions where a giant has been humbled by a minnow then I suggest that maybe you should head to the library and take out a book on football history.

If Linfield beat us, draw or only lose by the odd goal it would not be the worse result in our history and wouldn't rank in the top 50, possibly 100, biggest shocks in football.
