    Yes you will lose weight.

whether or not it's a healthy way to lose weight and more importantly keep that weight of and lead a healthier lifestyle is debatable.

I've been on the 5:2 diet since the end of January. Starting weight was 17 and a half stone, down to 15 stone now. Found it fairly easy especially since I still eat and drink a fair bit of * at the weekend :giggle1:
Also walking at least 2 miles a day during the week which helps big time!

Went out Friday afternoon and ended up sleeping awkwardly on my shoulder. Rested it yesterday but I am going to try and do some weights this afternoon. Could be the shortest session ever!

I did something to my neck last week and it's still sore so I've been afraid to do much in case I make it any worse.

I don't do anything majorly exciting with weights, I just mix it up with different types of workouts. Monday and Wednesday are upper body days. Thursday and Friday and core and legs.

I mix it up with cardio, circuits and sport throughout.

    Did a circuit today.

Constant exercise for 6 minutes, 1 minute at each station. 1 min doing 40m shuttle sprints, 1 min doing battle ropes, 1 min doing box jumps, 1 min doing wall balls, 1 min max effort rowing and 1 min of shoulder press. Stop and take a 1 min water break. Repeat that 4 times. Then 3 minutes of sled pushes at the end, interchanging with a partner. I felt like I was going to faint by the end of it.
