^^^i like doumbe alot as well but id like too see hinkel at right back next season, i dont think doumbe will get offered a new contract but i do generally think he could fight naylor for the left back place

 

I'd a fan of big doumbe aswell getting rb but walcott on loan is nvr going to happen, i like that brazilian cb naldo for werder bremen hes got pace can defend isnt afraid to shoot can pass a ball and is strong,

Boruc's last season with us me thinks :'(
O'Dea is much better at left back than as a centre back.
N'Daw is a good centre back, though he is better in midfield.
hopefully Brown will be worth what we payed for him this season.
Lloris is a brilliant keeper with one year left on his contract with Nice.
Pavlyuchenko would be our next 'Larsson' in terms of goals. and i'm not exaggerating when i say that.

Nice idea, but switch Naka and McGeady, and then it's perfect. How old is Lloris?

 

hes 21. been through the Nice youth ranks. his contract runs out in the summer 2009. Lloris said he does not want an extension but wants a new challenge. Nice will need to cash in this summer to get anything for him.

even if he does. i think we should buy a keeper ready for when he does. 'coz if he doesn't go this summer, he will next imo.

 

Well, I'd test M.Brown on the goal, and get a good young prospect for the bench.

 

Mark Brown is * awful.Crap shot stopper and no presence in the box.Worst goalkeeper we've had for years.

 

i have to agree with celtic nut here.

M.Brown has not got the quality to be in our starting XI. if/when Boruc goes we will buy a new 1st goalie and my *, we'll need one, no doubt about it.

Schmeical's a good shout in all. yes he's young and inexperienced at CL level, but if he turns out to be half the goalkeeper his dad was, we'd be laughing. he has already told Sven that he wants to leave in the summer.

or maybe have a cheeky bid for D.Marshall lol. he would of turned out to be a great goalkeeper for us. but then we landed the best goalie in the world, which is a tad unfortunate for the big man. he has had a great season with norwich and is still a good keeper.

Why is M.Brown our second goalkeeper anyway if he's so bad like you say? I don't get it... Even a bench GK has to be at least decent.

anytime brown has played he has looked dodgy, unfortunately but understandibly david marshall wanted regular football and we haven't signed an adequate replacement. ideally we would have 2 keepers fighting for a starting spot but good keepers dont like sitting on the bench

 

My choice if Boruc goes would be Pletikosa, but I think he'd be a bit hard to get. If we make it far in the CL, that might make Boruc stay. A much better option than searching a new GK.

 

boruc is going mate, no doubt about it. he'll be remembered forever but we will find another quality keeper, players come and go thats life. i think we'll sign jasskelinen, out of contract and still got 5 years at the top left

 

A good GK, but selling Boruc isn't a necessity. Selling one of the CB-s is. Get me Terlizzi, Knezevic or any Russian NT main team CB.

 

of course, we're in a very strong financial position and dont need to sell anyone but i think artur wants to move on to play in another league

 

That can be solved if he partakes in a successful CL campaign. If we do good, he might be tempted to stay. It's up to Strachan to take us even further he did before. It's all about being high in the CL. If we don't get high, he leaves.

 

the CL is over for us this season mate, getting to the last 16 is a big achievement for us. its not gonna stop artur leaving in the summer unfortunately

 

I mean the next one. Boruc won't leave yet. And even if he tried, I'd hold for him dearly.
