CM: “It will be a difficult game. We’ll be looking to build on our 2-0 advantage. We've got to go and take the game to them.”

CM: “The result was good but we could have performed slightly better. We’ll be looking to do that tomorrow night.

CM: “We picked up some silly bookings but overall I don't think there were too many bad tackles in the game.”

CM: “We need to go in with an attacking mindset and try and finish off the tie."

CALLUM McGregor insists Celtic will be determined to produce a better performance tomorrow night against Linfield as they target a place in the UEFA Champions League third qualifying round.

Goals from Scott Sinclair and Tom Rogic secured the Hoops a 2-0 advantage from the first-leg of the qualifier in Belfast, a game the Scottish treble-winners dominated from start to finish.

But, despite their comfortable lead in the tie, McGregor and his team-mates will be keen to up the intensity in front of a sold-out Celtic Park.

“It will be a difficult game,” he said. “They fought well over there but obviously we came out with a 2-0 win, and we will be looking to build on that tomorrow night and hopefully go through in the tie. We will be looking to take the game to them.

“We just need to keep playing games and getting match-sharp. The result was good but we could have performed slightly better, so we will be looking to do that tomorrow night and build on the fitness and sharpness again.”

The Windsor Park side employed a defensive strategy last week as they attempted to frustrate Brendan Rodgers’ side but McGregor is confident the Hoops will be well-equipped should Linfield adopt similar tactics in Paradise.

"We are getting used to that," he said. "Teams are coming in and sitting in and trying to make it difficult for us to break them down. We have been working on that for almost a year now with the manager and the way he wants to play. You can see us progressively getting better at it and it’s just about getting to that match sharpness and finishing it off.

“We need to try and move the ball quickly and break them down, get in one-v-ones in the wide areas and get crosses and shots away, and try and score a few goals. We just need to go with that attacking mindset and try and finish the tie."

Yeah, wee bit of quick feet and movement. Thought after seeing how packed out their final third was first half, Calum could have came on for the full second.

Btw did you enjoy getting to the game?

Aye, thought we should've done a straight swap for Ntcham instead of Hayes who could've came on for Forrest.

Yeah Rosenberg were very limited but used what they had to frustrate. First half they actually reminded me of Deilas tactics.
