Unfortunately the squad is a mess and funds need to be raised to re-build. So for that reason Boruc to be sold for 10-14 million. It might not be a bad idea to even cash in on Mcgeady also as we need to look at the bigger picture and need to buy quality all over the pitch. How else will we raise the money.?

Can't really see him being here for the start of next season , but would love him to stay..

 

I'd rather sell Naka, Jan and Naylor for extra transfer funds, we've got to the last 16 twice and only spent £2M last summer so we shouldn't be relying on selling our main assets. If he wants to go though that's a different story.

 

Top teams dont sell their best players. All those years we were crying out for a keeper and never had one.

I'd rather sell aiden if we neaded the money, 12M for aiden and buy back maloney for what 3M as a replacement. But even at that i'd rather keep aiden.

Tell me this though what use is having two top class performers when the rest of the team is poor.?

If we have to sell our assets to raise tranfer money to produce a better overall product then that may have to be the way forward. Not ideal but looking at the bigger picture maybe an option worth looking at.

 

Lawell continues to say how good our finances are, why do people think we always need to sell players to make money, when really there is money already there!!

If 15 Million is given to a new manager without needing to sell our most saleable assests then I agree we should keep our best players.

However I cant see that much money being spent maybe 5-8 mil on two or three players not enough to make us a quality side.

Ranger's finances are not as good as our and when Walter Smith came in he was given £12 million to spend!!

No Celtic fan actually wants him to leave and we should be looking to build a team round him and a few others like Aiden and McManus(if we can get him a decent partner).
