    A left footer for balance in central midfield would be Rabiot and good age as well..

    Indeed a weird one. Since Rosell/Bartomeu took over as board of the club they've systematically dismantled most of the successes of Laporta's reign in terms of how the cantera was run & integrating youth. Deulofeu's iniital loan/transfer to Everton was essentially an incentivised loan

    When you consider how much he has moved around, the different systems, coaches (4) and clubs(3) he's faced in 4 seasons it's a wonder he's still valued at all by Barcelona. Personally, I think he has to improve many things (Tracking back and playing without the ball) but tremendously talented. I want him back

    When I think of Barca and what they need going forward, some of the player's linked or still with them on the fringes just aren't good enough for me..

    Deulofeu is one of those who can have good day's but more often than not is greedy, wasteful and not hard working enough. I don't think he's an elite player or will ever get to that level required at Barca, despite still being young..

    Valverde is supposedly going 4231 with Messi as the 10 so it makes sense to sign a young cheap player like Deulofeu for the squad.

    If they start the season with Neymar and Dembele as the wingers he'll be good to give them a rest in the smaller games. He'll basically be their 'Hayes'.

    Would disagree with that statement. Quality player, good age and hasnt been a one season wonder like most of these kids getting touted with massive asking prices.

    In the days where a relatively unknown Keita is been valued at 70million (albeit looks a talent) 43million for Lacazette seems * good value!
