Think it's abhorrent that a mega rich footballer would want to force his way out of a club that's made him the richest sportsperson in the world, over the nations tax laws.

Hate paying tax myself, and it must be brutal paying the eye watering amounts he does, but he would of known what he signed up for.

We have been hearing for years and years now that Madrid would be happy to accept X amount for Ronaldo - I really don't get that. The thought that the worlds richest club would want to sell their best ever player, and 50 goal a season man, for any price is bizarre to me.

The talk of how they are happy to let Ronaldo go for £150m because they really want Mbappe.. Mbappe is an amazing talent but he won't replace Ronaldo now or ever. Have both, you sell Bale before Ronaldo.

Shouldn't even entertain selling him while he's getting the numbers we are accustomed to.

Tbh, I look at both teams and I think Monchengladbach are superior all over the park, which always makes me wonder why the "lesser" team would send out a young, promising CB to them for the season. You need him more than they do.

 

Said it a million times, young players are ruined in England because teams are scared to lose. Most teams play *, defensive football in fear of getting beat and potentially losing the 100's of millions that keep them alive, so in turn don't give youngsters a chance.

Where as The Bundesliga is the opposite. Young players thrive and its a much better league to watch.
