Absolute scum of a newspaper. No journalistic values, no respect nor integrity. You really have to be on the lowest rung to work for them. And the people who buy it should take a stand.
Unless of course they are happy to read a rag whose vocabulary and writing are aimed at readers with an 8 year olds IQ.

I was shocked to hear on a C4 news report that a person with mobility problems was housed on the 23rd floor . That's a prison sentence for somebody like that , never mind the fact that the block was an accident waiting to happen . Shame on the local council .
My thoughts are with the victims , and their family and friends . * bless and RIP .

A bigger, more organised protest outside Wasteminster now.

Have a feeling this is all going to kick off big time tonight and over the weekend.

I can't say the government don't deserve it, but I really do hope that it doesn't escalate like it did a few years back off the back of the Mark Dugan incident, last thing London needs is another riot.

So Theresa May made her way in to Chelsea and Westminster hospital at 12 o'clock today and left was already out by 12.40..

    * wow. Up the lift and straight back out..

That slag and other's won't be able to walk the street's down here once they're slung out the back door of parliament..

What they've let happen and possibly to thousands other's to cut cost's and line each other's pockets is sickening..

It's always been a class thing mate. The sooner people realise that the better.

She seems to breeze around with a false air of nobility about her. But then again it must be Tory policy vetting because they all come across like that. Like the black guy for the Tories in London. Born working class and certainly didn't pick that accent up in no housing estate. I'm all for people bettering themselves. But never be ashamed where you come from.
My Da always said get your education, you don't wanna end up like me. He also said he did things his way so we didn't have to go into his lifestyle. It did work for me and my four siblings. None of us ever in the clink or in trouble with the law. But I'm still proud of my background.

The Prime Minister is stuck here. An national tragedy, unpredented in modern times, has all the hallmarks of corporate manslaughter, cutting corners for capital gain, and complete disinterest of the poor. For a Londoner who sees these extremes daily, the Tory party are the embodiement of that disregard and inequality, and will hold her directly responsible. The tragedy is shot through with class issues. She never stood a chance.

On a broader note, I think the tide has definitely turned against the political status quo. Britain is sitting on a volcano and tragedies that demonsrate the horrendous effects of stark inquality are only pushing the eruption point closer.

So why did her chief of staff sit on recommendations made after an enquiry into a different tragic fire in London in 2009, I posted the information in here a few pages back, the Tories are up to their neck in this but let's not make it political eh.

That Depeche Mode when we score!!
Yes and the countless million pound plus luxury apartments dotted all over London do not look so cool now,and looks like Lily Allen was not far off the mark after all.

It woudn't surprise me one * bit!!! These * seem to thrive on people's tragedies, despair and misery to sell their vile publications. My own family have experience of The Sun's tactics years ago and how they don't take no for an answer. Utter scum and what's sad is so many people buy the * thing!!

This tragic event just shows another nasty side of capitalism and how the poor are just getting left further and further behind and also IGNORED!! Just switched the box on tonight and the anger is palpable and people seem to be rising up!! Good....maybe the * will listen....then again probably not!!

I think if you are a leader in times of emergency you have to be seen to lead from the front. And she hasnt done this. I honestly think had she turned up and just tried to make a human connection then those watching on tv would give benefit of doubt, no matter what the crowd reaction. She now cannot go near the site as she has allowed tensions to increase.

I agree as regards this simmering anger that seems to be growing. Whether this is the spark or not im not sure, but it feels like we could be going back to the 70s and 80s in terms of social unrest.

I said yesterday that it's going to happen (I hope not). Some people in power and journalism would like it to happen as it would take the heat (sorry no other word) of those who need held accountable.
    Protest with dignity.
