Peter Bosz confirmed as the new BVB manager.

They have a good young team so could be a decent appointment.

Just agreed a fee with Lazio for Keita Balde, and Lucas Biglia might be going to Milan as well. They're certainly going about business in the right way.

Balde Keita is a frightening player.

They've already signed one of my future favourite payers in Franck Kessie.

Serie A giants AC Milan have made a £39m bid for Manchester United target Andrea Belotti, Sky in Italy understand.

While the bid has yet to be rejected outright, it is understood Belotti's club Torino want in the region of £56.5m for the striker.

What a signing he would be. Not a Milan fan, particularly, but it's about time they got back to being a top team.

Would be brilliant if next season AC and Inter challenge Juve again.

Spalletti should be a good manager for Inter. Did a great job with Roma last season, domestically anyway. It'll be interesting to see who they sign over the summer. Their 2009/10 CL winning team is one of my favourite teams since I can remember watching football.

    Julio Cesar
    Maicon Lucio Samuel Chivu
    Zanetti Cambiasso
    Sneijder
    Eto'o Milito Pandev
    Some team.

Do Inter still have the transfer embargo for next season?

Did they have an embargo? I know they weren't allowed to play some of their new signings in the Europa League last season because of FIFA Fair Play.

They don't have an embargo currently anyway. Apparently they are close to signing Bernardeschi from Fiorentina.

Read about someone wanting to sign and accepting not to play for 6 months.

Messi new deal will see him net £50 a minute.

    £4,500 a game.

Interesting, because I can recall reading that Barca wouldn't be able to afford Messi's next contract.

That with the every transfer window rumour that Barcelona will need to sell one of Messi, Neymar or Suarez to continue? (slaggin media, not you Minty).

No, it wasn't that I was referring to. But surely their wage budget will implement limitations in their transfer budget?

No expert on their finances - but aren't the like part owned/backed by the biggest bank in Catalonia/Spain ?
Always be under the impression that financially they are never really in much trouble. Though debt will look big, since a bank has them covered as an actual owner/share interest etc ?

Barcelona are fan owned and they elect presidents. I just found the article I read, it was from Guillem Balague. He basically stated that Barca need to find more money (probably from sponsors) before they can afford to renew the contracts of Neymar, Suarez and Messi. So their finances aren't so amazing that they can just throw money around, but they're not in any immediate danger of having to sell their best players, which makes sense given the revenue they generate.

I have no idea if they're propped up by a bank. I always assumed R.Madrid were but I could be wrong on that.
