I swear some people base their opinions on players on their last 2 games.

Forrest was unplayable for a large part of last season.

He was getting picked ahead of Roberts until the last couple of months.

Some people just won't ever give him any credit.

That's why I said not in the mood, first half of the season he was excellent, then his form dropped and most of the time so does his interest during a game.

Compare Hayes and Forrest work rate, there's a big difference.

No it didn't. Forrest's workrate and defensive work has been nothing short of fantastic this season.

Even if he played poorly he worked his * off.

Mate even when Forrest was playing out his skin this season, people wanted him out for Roberts, who wasn't performing to his capabilities at the time. It makes no sense.

You've got people saying that Scott Brown isn't a * legend. Our second most successful captain ever :56:.

The internet is something not to be taken seriously... Which is something I often forget when *. Like tonight :84:

Let me just add here that I'll be happy signing Hayes. My comments about Forrest is not a dig at JH. I think he'll do a decent job and push our wingers.

Good player but nothing to get excited about!.... Hayes will be lucky if he gets to join the hoops!

Kind of wish these hayes rumours would go away. I feel once he's signed/signed for another club we'll start to focus on the other areas we feel need improved.

He will become a Celtic player ,he is a target and Rodgers will get his man , does it mean Roberts won't be here , no ,he can cover for Sinclair or any front position , very handy and Great assist stats.
Still feel we are doing our best to get the wee man back here, fingers crossed it happens.

Daily Express saying a new offer of 1.3 million and a season long loan of RC to the Sheep will hopefully see movement in the next 48 hours.

I think the stalemate is the fear that Aberdeen will lose their best players and relinquish 2nd spot to sevco, they will be looking for the best deal for Hayes ,who they have already lost as he won't come back from knowing we are after him if it all falls down.
They also need other teams out with Scotland to show interest and probably would prefer to sell to them ,but he can scupper any attempt from others as he holds the aces and would prefer to play for Celtic, it's seeing how far we will go , possibly 1.5 mill ,and not being able to request Christie back half way through the season .
This is reading between the lines though ,but more urgent for us is seeing possibly our most improved player retained as the priority ,the longer it drags on with Armstrong the more nervous I become ,get it done Celtic he is to important to drag this out .

CELTIC have made an improved £1.3million plus Ryan Christie bid to land Jonny Hayes from Aberdeen.

The Hoops hope it will seal a deal for the Dons winger within the next 48 hours.

The agreement will see midfielder Christie return to Pittodrie on a season-long loan.

Hayes has been on Republic of Ireland duty but is ready to fly back to finalise his move to Parkhead.

They're always gonnae play hard ball with us, we're taking their best player and basically the only guy in their team who can compete with us on a footballing level.

If we weren't in for him they'd have accepted £1m from Cardiff, guaranteed.

If it weakens our opposition and gives us more options I'm happy with it. He's probably worth 1.3 anyway in the grand scheme of football transfers.

No too bothered about Christie, while I like to see our team with young Scottish boys, I don't think he'll make it here. Wouldn't be surprised if the sheep sign him full time next year.

I think we need to make a decision on Christie now tbh. If we let him go on loan then he'll only have a year left on his deal when he returns.

I get they're playing hard ball personally I wouldn't be paying anything over £1 million.
