Remember when we signed Michael Gray year's later for missing the playoff final penalty that kept the Geordies down?

Or when we got Rodgers so they could get Moyes?

    Great day's man..

    Why mate ?

I have been in the home grounds at Newcastle, Sunderland and Boro. I have been to the Sunderland v Newcastle Derby. In the Boro end at Roker Park and the Sunderland end at the Riverside. I went to the Beardsley game and the "friendly" at St James's a few years ago and there was trouble. However out of the three I would say Newcastle is the least hostile place for Celtic fans.

''Their forum is * hilarious like calling us a pish little club. The twats (with gers) have enjoyed a monopoly up there for years beating * literally tiny clubs week in week out. Now the money has stopped because everyone can see what * one sided football it is up there and they are bitter as *. Championship level at best.''

Bitter as *? We're living the dream at the moment, 100 points, unbeaten, 2 trophies in the bag with another final coming up, champions league qualifiers to look forward to, playing great football week in week out, unbeaten against our rivals. :43::84:

Money has stopped? Last time I checked our finances are sound with a potential £20+ million champions league income and assets like Dembele. However, if you want to talk about money stopping you just have to look at sunderlands finances, they have one of the highest net debts in Europe, tbh I think they've been lucky to stay in the premiership this long and the championship is certainly their level.
They've won 6 games this season and the last time they won at home was a 1-0 win against watford on the 17th december, ooft :56: Enjoy the championship lads:56:Our team would absolutely destroy them but then again that's not much of an achievement.

"Scott Sinclair is the best player in that league. He's *."

Him, Dembele, Tierney, Roberts and even the likes of Scott Brown would walk into our team to be fair. Have you seen the * clip of us?!

This is what worries me about playing English teams, you just know for a fact the uneducated premier league fans just view us as "terrorist loving English hating jocks" all we'll here from them is * Save Their Queen and undoubtedly they'll know those dignified peado chants the Huns and Aberdeen (stand free LOL) like to sing at us, why oh why are we even considering this?

Why can't we play a team like St Pauli that would be a good money spinner or the champions of the Irish league or any one of the Scandinavian teams, * lets get a friendly with Feyenoord they won their league lets organise something with them. I only want to play Premier league teams if its unavoidable in Europe not in 'friendlies'.

Worked with a few lads from both and found the Mackem lads more sound, went to a few games in London with them a few years ago, they were always quite respectable about us as a club.

BMG would be a decent as well. Sunderland can * off to Burton away. In fact would Inter not make sense since it's the 50th anniversary?

Fair enough JC :50:. I know a lot of decent mackems but even the games I have been to I always get the undercurrent that there is a sectarianism behind it.

One of those proper little Eng(er)lander type club's is how I see them..

I despise Newcastle and they've won fuckall, ever. Imagine widely being known as the even shittier of the two though :56:

If that club popped over to Switzerland they'd be granted suicide.....

It does seem pointless playing wee diddy teams down south but Brendan doesn't want to travel far and these games are primarily about fitness

Feyenoord or St Pauli would be brilliant though
