Aye, was just saying though their poor transfer record goes back to even Ferguson's last few years though. His eye for a player seemed to have gone when you think he tried to replace Scholes with Anderson, Ronaldo and Giggs with Nani, Young and Valencia, Ferdinand and Vidic with Jones and Smalling, Gary Neville with Rafael, Rooney/Berbatov/Tevez/Van Persie with Welbeck and Hernandez.Not even one came off, while he lost Pique and Pogba.

He must have expected those players to become quality players in the same way he did with Vidic, Evra, Carrick, Ronaldo and Rooney who he got on the cheap when they were youngish 18-25.

 

Ferguson only let Pique go because he was homesick.

 

Mahrez just scored a penalty v City but it was disallowed. He slipped as he hit it and his right foot made contact with the ball right before he struck it with his left foot.

He also had sturridge playing easily as well as suarez. Guy was a complete machine with Rodgers coaching. The klopps * that too. It makes them feel better though pretending Rodgers wasn't better.

 

Rodgers is so underrated by English that I'm amazed, even better for us.

Talking about Spurs-UTD game, I really hope for Spurs win, and honestly wish for game to don't be a murder to watch.

Also, looking at relegation battle, it looks like Hull are going down. Honestly I wished someone like Watford or Palace (although atmosphere is good) went down instead of Swansea and Hull who are at the moment closest to this 3rd and final relegation spot. I think Silva and Clement, especially Silva did some amazing job.

I really feel for Liverpool's fans regarding Hillsborough but I think the way Brendan was treated down there was awful. For that reason, I want Klopp to fail. Sounds petty but I don't care. :brendy:
