Yeah same with me. I dont feel guilty eating a lot on a day when I've done something intense though, unless its crap obviously.

Played my first 90mins of 11s in 4 months there. Was * roasting and heavy unfit, but ankle held up okay.
Started going to gym again and doing treadmill and bike as all the running on concrete was hurting the ankle too much.
Started doing abs and some weights (time permitting) before work most days now as well, just need to get the diet sorted and hopefully be jamming for holiday.

Weighed myself, lost just under a stone. Good result, helps keep me motivated.

Even a little is better than nothing. I was hanging out my * at the gym tonight. Started with half an hour of cardio then went on to weights. Vegetating for the rest of tonight.

I put on just over a stone when I broke my foot and had shin splints, so it feels good to have gotten rid of most of it.

1.5 mile run tonight (9:33), followed by a hill climb on the treadmill to keep the calves stretched. Followed that with 5 sets of bodyweight and kettlebell exercises. Press ups, sit ups, step ups, squats and tricep dips. Ten reps of each.

Back at the gym yesterday today after a month off.

Deid yesterday after only a 40 min session on the bike and treadmill but went back today and done an hour and 15 across a number of things.

Then went for a walk down South Queensferry. Aiming to get into a routine of going around 5 times a week during the summer with an hour of swimming chucked in now and again too. Should notice a difference after a couple months.

How have you planned all your * out?

I'm wanting to sort out something as well so I get into a proper routine. Might sound a silly question but have you used an app or anything or just written it oot?

All I did was write down what I would aim to do each week and on what days. So for the first two weeks just doing two runs and two upper body workouts over the course of the week, then gradually building it up. So for the first two weeks of May I've been doing 4 days a week and by the start of June I'll hope to be doing 6 while also getting quicker with runs and reps.

    https://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/kris-gethin-man-of-iron-trainer.html

Quite an interesting programme from a well known Welsh bodybuilder. He is changing routine to compete in a triathlon (iron man) and is setting out his programme for people to follow. For the average guy this would be near impossible, seeing the workouts will take up a shitload of time, and recovery would be extremely difficult. Would turn into a machine if you kept to that plan though!

Kind of weird how much weight can fluctuate.

Came into the house last night weighed myself

    172.2

Had a bit of a binge on * weighed my self later that night and I was bang on 173

Weighed myself this morning and was 171.2

Got such a mental war going on to dip under 170 I have kinda messed up my weight loss by cutting too many calories too soon as my weight loss had stalled so going to need to cut more when I know it's too little for my activity output

Also been back on the * recently, infact smoking more than ever at the moment and it's doing my nut in because I know my cardio would go through the roof if I stopped again as I was banging out 3-4 10ks a week no problem now I'm struggling to do 5k in a reasonable time
