Super news that he's signed a new contract. He showed a lot of glimpses today, very impressive.

What a day. Two promising youth players grabbing a chance with both hands and one of them signing a new deal.

Hopefully they stay in the squads up until the end of the season.

    The talent is there.

It's just nurturing it and choosing the right time to throw them in, as Brendan says himself.

Our youth sides consistently do well against other European teams in competitions. Although that doesn't guarantee the same impact at senior level, it surely shows something?

If our U-14's can tan Ajax 4-1 for example in a tournament final then there is serious hope for the future. We have the perfect gaffer to bring them through as well.

Another thing that is evident from a lot of our youth boys is that they are technically quite advanced. Onviously being taught the right way.

Finally  I'll delete my other posts and change the original before people think we're having a meltdown.

Glad he's tied down, obviously never seen him today but hopefully get to see him against Aberdeen or Thistle soon

It's amazing the skill levels our youth players have, our coaching staff must've been excellent for years. Love how everyone knew Brendan would give the youth players a chance after we won the league.

I wouldn't start him against Aberdeen, I can see them being overly physical, to try and intimidate us before the final, plus their pitch is terrible, which won't suit his style. If we are cruising later on fair enough, bring him on. The jags game I think would be a good one for him to start in though.

That bit of skill is McGeady-esque.
