Why can Barry Robson say he maybe scored against Barca ?

While we are at it we should bring back the equally prolific Teemu Pukki

But he wasn't scoring goals for fun. So you're wrong on that count.

    Yet again.

Not being from Scotland, I wouldn't know too much about him away from the pitch. However, what I have heard isn't great.

I've heard he's a decent enough guy but that he's very easily led, wayward, has terrible judgement and surrounds himself with hangers-on. Seemingly all the fame that came with the Barca goal went to his head.

Hope he gets all the help he needs. Seeing him reviewing films on YouTube, speaking like he's spaced out, makes me worry for him. As I said in the other thread, I hope to * he doesn't do something stupid.

That is what you have got to worry about. When the hope goes, you need somebody there you can lean on.
His confidence and self esteem looks very fragile on that video. That is why I say when a Celtic player leaves the club for a smaller club its a downward spiral. You lose all the trappings of success and acclaim over night. Can be a very difficult thing for some players to adjust too, and Tony strikes me as being vulnerable. He also reminds me of that wee Castlemilk lad that used to play for Rangers and then went off the tracks due to the bevvy and hangers on.

Tbh I had to Google him, can't say I remember that much about him at all.

I was too young to remember most of the Huns' 9IAR.

Don't think anyone who knows him would be surprised if he done something stupid. Really threw it all away.

Said before but that youth team he was apart of had incredible potential. McGregor was probably one of the poorest players in it but is the only one who seems to have stuck at it and is reaping the rewards.

Watt, George, Herron, Fisher, Atajic etc. All fading into obscurity while McGregor is in the form of his life in a team breaking records every week, playing CL football and winning trophies. Shows what can happen when people just work hard.

I know Charlie Miller. Played school football against him and he was head and shoulders above the rest. Really nice boy, but as others have said, was easily led, and started hanging about with Gazza etc when he was at Rangers. Should have got away from it and headed down south or abroad. Allegedly a Celtic supporter too.....

Do you have any stats from that youth team? Find it hard to believe KT was the worst. It's more a case of a distinguished player, that can't be picked up in 2/3 seasons. Yes KT has continued his impressive form under BR but he played like that under Ronnie. So to put him down as a decent slogger isn't great.:50:

McGregor... he was part of a youth team that were pumping teams like City in Europe. McGeouch, George, Twardzik, Herron, Irvine were all in that midfield. George especially was tipped to be the next big thing. Don't even know if he's playing football now.

Saying that KT wasn't really fancied by Chris McCart and it was Deila who saw something in him in training. Collins said the other week when they came in they couldn't believe Tierney wasn't even in the 20's starting 11.

And nobodies putting anyone down as a 'decent slogger'. It's complementing them for doing absolutely everything to make it when more talented players let their head go up their *.
