That recent Hamilton game was that bad even the Daily Record article is scathing of him...

Referee John Beaton slaughtered for hat-trick of howlers in Rangers' Scottish Cup demolition of Accies

Scottish referees take a fair bit of stick and the latest man to face the wrath of the fans for a truly woeful performance is John Beaton.

The grade one whistler took charge of Rangers ' Scottish Cup clash with Hamilton Accies and had social media going potty with a hat-trick of horrendous decisions (or lack of them) during the Ibrox clash.

Beaton caused outrage in the first-half of the quarter-final tie when Gers keeper Wes Foderingham clearly handled the ball outside the box but was allowed to just get up and get on with it.

Accies players were furious at the ref and his assistant for missing the incident but the 35-year-old just cracked on as if nothing had happened before awarding the Light Blues a soft penalty just after the half-hour mark .

If that wasn't bad enough, Gers striker Joe Garner miraculously managed to dodge a red card for a UFC-like swipe at Accies veteran Dougie Imrie in the second-half of the match.

Garner charged in to attempt to clear the ball, completely missed it and blootered the Hamilton man leaving him writhing on the ground and with every man and their dog expecting the Gers man to get his marching orders.

The challenge was as clear a red as you will see, but after much deliberation, Beaton left everyone stunned when he had a wee word with the Gers striker, then produced a yellow card for a challenge that Conor McGregor would've been proud of.

Garner went on to bag a hat-trick in the 6-0 trouncing of Martin Canning's side with many believing that the Gers fans' favourite should never have been on the park.

Not a good day at the office for Beaton and Co, and Twitter wasted no time in having its say ...

Easier said than done, what if they flag us offside when we are on, blow for fouls when we're going to score from corners, blow for fouls when we win the ball back for counter attacks. Refuse to give stonewall penalties, book our players for cheap fouls.

If a Referee wants he can heavily control a game.

Thay can yes but if we play like we did Sunday and control the game ,and this time score a hatful of goals in open play there is only so much they can do , we might need to beat 12/13/14 men but we are good enough.

Don't envisage many cards though as it's his first game between the clubs so extra body armour maybe required

It's amazing the level of cheating against us this season that has gone unnoticed.

With the exception of the 5-1 game, every game against the Klan has seen us suffer some blatant horrendous decisions.

In the Dembele semi-final, Erik had a perfectly good goal chopped off.

In the 2-1 game, we had three or four goal-scoring attacks (like 2 v 1s and 3 v 1s) that were incorrectly flagged offside. In fact, these calls were so bad that if a defender prevented them from happening he'd have been red carded for denying a goal-scoring opportunity.

In the 1-1 game, Holt should have been sent off for a horrific lunge - which didn't even merit a foul being given - and then we had a stonewall penalty turned down at the end.

In the 2-0 game, the Klan got away with two certain red cards.

It really is undeniable. The amount of game changing decisions that blatantly go against us in these game is * ridiculous. These things simply do not "even themselves out", if they did we'd be due literally hundreds of pens and sendings off.

This is all true and as much as it is annoying for us, it only makes them * think they are closer than they are.

The only way they can get near to us is by blatant cheating from their officials.

In the Glasgow derby, irrespective of the version of Rangers we play, we always play against 14.

It's arguably been worse in the game's we've played against the rest and not these *, which tells you just how bad it's been..

Week to week the official's are being brought up on here and we're almost through a whole season unbeaten for fucksake..

    * that wee *. The hardest hit we could give him and his cohorts a public Rodgering infront of a crowd of hurting zombies. Let's scud them at football and leave the plastic hard-man pish to their collection of journeymen.

If they were to even themselves out over a season then in this last game we'll be due for them to get about 4 soft red cards, we are due a dodgy goal, a soft penalty, we are due numerous throw ins and corner decisions in our favour and about half a dozen or more offside decisions. We are due that many decisions that we probably won't be able to fit them all into the one game.

I have seen so much over the years that I know it's part of the deal. But it doesn't make it right. But Karma is very enjoyable in this case.

Exactly, as I said before we need to be way better than the 1 each draw at Parkhead, we were way off the pace that day and Madhun was a leveller for the monkeys.
