Have |Dermot present the cup to the team and PL presenting the medals.

This, * sick of teams taking * crowds to a semi final and then demanding half the final, this mob also handed back tickets from the league cup final they couldn't shift.

So fans that can't make say 1 or 2 games miss out on a cup final to a fan from the other team that wants a day out, its a joke that a team with average crowds of say 12 to 13 thousand wants 20 thousand tickets, who allocates where the extra tickets go.

For me, that's exactly what a cup final is all about. It's the chance for a whole city to get behind their team. Yes, they crawl out of the woodwork, but so what? It's the romance of the cup.

If they have the potential to sell out half the ground, then they should get that chance. When we played Dunfermline, for example, in the final, we got more seats, understandably, but it's Aberdeen.

Each to their own, I get what you're saying, just view it different :50:

Easy way to sort this out.
    Make a bigger stadium.
Minimum 70,000 seater with pitches that are easily interchanged so no hassle about playing 2 matches in 2 days on same pitch.

Fair enough mate, I just think it's a * system but your never going to please everyone, but as I said they handed back over 2000 tickets from the league cup final after demanding more.

I'm sorry but that is a ridiculous suggestion.

I'm on the HCTS so I'll be sorted for a ticket but it's ludicrous that these teams demand a 50% split simply to accommodate their pop-up fans at the expense of people actually putting money into Scottish Football.

You could have a scenario of our fans missing out on a ticket despite having been to Pittodrie more times this season than thousands in their end. Laughable.

Or use the 67,800 seater one with established transport links already available in Edinburgh.

The SFA should give serious consideration to moving future finals to earlier in the season in my opinion.

These are Scotland's main representatives in Europe next season and both are going to end up with a 2/3 week break before being back in for the qualifiers.

If we weren't in this I'd have been sending the first team away on holiday after Aberdeen on the 12th of May.

They got half for the last final couldn't fill the main stand upper so we got more tickets and failed to sell areas at the front behind the goal after the kick up about a 50/50 split

They should sell the tickets by section starting from the main stand side and any sections left should be given to us where the divide usually is

For smaller city's and clubs yes ... Aberdeen can take half anytime they want to in all honesty and was really surprised they didn't in the last final

Celtic should maybe open up the stadium had we win the trophy instead of fans being left outside maybe a point somebody should make to Celtic SLO a bit like Rodgers announcement but could be way more

Too much commensense is what it is so realistically they have been given 50/50 but have a date to sell those tickets and then that leaves empty gaps that can't be filled in the heart of the Aberdeen end

    I suppose.

A Sunday in November is maybe less appealing than a Saturday at the end of May though, so I expect them to sell out this time.

    May be wrong mind.
