Brown should take a video of that halliday challenge today with him to his appeal if that was only worthy of a yellow then his should be also browns wasn't as bad as that he slid towards the ball and caught that fat * with his trailing leg, the direction of hallidays challenge was nowhere near the ball and only deemed a yellow

The strengths in his game were always obvious (ball winning, energy, pressing, aggression etc) and the weaknesses were probably overblown, but he's literally taken everything that he wasn't so good at and somehow become exemplary at them

He's someone in the team that I'm so confident in, really feel like we have a genuine CL calibre player in Brown now. I'm not saying he's a world beater, but there aren't many midfielder who I would be confident of getting the better of him.

 

So important to us. we all probably had same thought after his sending off i.e "*, he's out of semi"
He will be missed next week. My enduring image of this season will be Broonie standing on Advertising Boards at the bigotdome lording it big time whilst they are going mental!

his positioning is brilliant, setting off the play and then there when we need him to defend, he reads the game so well and is our midfield general, so strong on the ball.

i wasn't always a fan but he wins you round with performances like that, tremendous

I think christie has takent but not even close to being browns level and not even ever going to be even slightly close to be the same type of player. Then again no one is quite like brown on the pitch
