    Will be sorely missed but im not sure id spend £12 million out of a possible £15 million on one player. There absolutely no chance of Celtic doing that anyway.

    It would be a good price but I think the squad still needs strengthened in a few areas so to * the majority of a budget on one player would be a difficult decision.

    Still think we need amother CB and quality CM.

    I love the wee * but so why no.

    It's a lot of money for us but we'd know we'd be getting a quality player, we could go spend £6m on someone else and they turn out *. With Roberts we know what we're getting and he'd make us a great profit in the future.

    Perhaps but Rodgers has been after one since last summer so doubt he will want to wait another 6 months after this one coming.

    I think the CM will be out primary target.

    I don't think £12m would even get Roberts if i am being 100% honest.

    He might have been up here for a year or so now but he is still one of the biggest young English talents. For a player like him you are maybe talking even more than that in this day and age.

    Also have my doubts about whether he'd fancy a permanent move here.

    Nah, was just wondering if people would think it's worth spunking most of our budget on, with enough left over for a Sinclairish amount of transfer fee.

    8 mill, yes.
    12 mill - if the budget is 15 mill plus anything we bring in. Then perhaps.
    Would leave 3 mill for a central midfielder that Rodgers wants. Clear out the deadwood and bring in another keeper.
