I'm assuming it will be the big Irn-Bru heid Bates and then Wison next to him.

In fairness Beerman at LB doesn't look the worst but he is definitely a weak link. Very small and better going forward by all accounts.

We should get plenty of chances but we need to up our game from recent weeks, that is for certain.

We are by far the better team the league proves that but even the last semi we had umpteen chances to bury them but didn't score till the 89th minute as you say mate need to be clinical with our chance s

That's the thing. They don't have anyone who isn't a weak link at the back for this. Tavernier is a torrid defender who got taught a lesson last time he faced up Sinclair. Bates is dreadful, slow and * on the ball and Dembele will murder him. Wilson has always been slow and pish. Just see him for the Dembele goal nye and Beerman I watched get terrorised by Connor Sammon recently but is nippy going forward..

    Ok bud..

    100%.

Another strong, dominant performance is needed here to put them back in their place. We have the quality and ability to really pump them, need to show that.

The early goal (< 20 mins) is imperative if we are to win this. This teams biggest enemy is itself...when one or two players don't show up the negativity resonates throughout the team. I hope the players remain firmly in the mindset that this is the toughest game of the season and their focus is on. Judging by some posts here the players need to turn up and just walk to the final, never happens. I just hope that thought process doesn't get into the heads of some the players as Brendan will i'm sure be hammering this home to them...players should be mature enough to know the tough fight ahead of them.

Aye both full backs can't defend, which we already know and so does Brendan. Sinclair and Forrest/Pat should have plenty space. Unless they try and set up to defend and counter like they did against Aberdeen, which is what I think he might do. He seems less afraid to change things than Toastie.

Like you say, Bates is Aberdeen CB-esque on the ball so if we press them we should get joy.

We've came out really slowly in the last few of these games, a quick start would at least ease some of the nerves. Scotty, Moussa, Paddy (hopefully) should run riot against the defence they'll have to put out.

Yep. This is where I think Rogic in the 10 making thing's happen against that slow pish defence could be key..

Another game down the line so he should be itching to go here..

Don't agree with this tbh, however I do think after 10 minutes we will be able to see how hard we are going to make it for ourselves. I would be very surprised and disappointed if we started as sloppily as we did in the game at Celtic Park.

Mon the Rogic a repeat of what he did in the 5-1 game will set us up nicely. I am going for 3-0 to us.

Can't over emphasise the impact a good rogic has on our team , it gives maximum threat from both sides of midfield ,it allows more space for Sinclair and Armstrong to run into penetrating positions ,he also brings the best out of Forrest ,it also makes us push up more and squeeze the life out the opposition as Armstrong and Forrest are usually close supporting and ready for any breaks coming of rogic when he draws 3players to him .

It's not the first 10 or 20 minutes that concern me as patience will be needed if they sit really deep with 5 at the back. But the last 10 or 15 minutes will be crucial. If we have a 1 goal lead or even if we are drawing we have tended to go to sleep at the back in the last 10 or 15 minutes, we have to stay totally focused for the 90 minutes and the 10 minutes of injury jury time if we are beating them with 1 goal

But the thing is mate if we go in and show them we are as up for it as them and don't give them any encouragement at all then I think that sets the template for the game. Whether we score or not ( and obviously hopefully we do) it will demoralise them. They will still have hope but if we start sloppily then they will actually start to believe.
