    When the majority of the media yesterday and today are reeking of jealousy by attempting to undermine this seasons achievements. Which is heightened by the fear that its going to continue for years to come.

    Brings a wee smile to my face.

    This group of players have performed very well on a weekly basis. They've played real football, patiently retained the ball, broke at pace on the counter, worked hard for one another to win the ball back and its been reflected on the scoreboard and in the league standings. Along the way, they've been tested in a number of situations(like Motherwell away) and responded.

    So people can talk about the standard of league, the money we have to spend, this pantomime of a club in Govan and so on.

    This Celtic team has set a standard for the whole of Scottish Football to aspire too. And that's what should be taken from this season.

    Drove back down to England yesterday afternoon with a contented smile and then the English sports media started their pish about competition and lack of it.
