    Played like a captain.

Not a great game individually but rallied the troops.

    I'll agree with that..

What he clearly lacked in quality tonight, he dug deep at the end not letting us be bullied..

I thought he did well last night. Even when he's not playing well, his presence helps the team enormously.

Be a landslide victory for Brown on here, but Ferguson was a good player. Probably two of the best the nation has produced in recent years.

Seen on the BBC app that Brown will play against England and will be rested after the title is wrapped up.

We still have things to play for so I hope it works out well.

Played almost every minute this season, he deserves a wee break, most others have.

We need to make sure Brown is fully fit for C
I'd take Brown, but that might well be the bias talking. Far more energy and aggression in Brown's play, although Ferguson was a good player and had a better range of passing than Brown.

I hope Brown players until the semi-final. Win or lose, he can maybe sit out for a weekend after that, but we need him right at it for the big games we have between now and the end of the season. It's not our job to prepare him for Scotland vs England.

Brown every day over that wee *.

He had some good players beside him, making him look good, jumped ship for money at the first chance and caused a fall out with a manager.

Today is exactly why he should've quit the international scene for good..

Looked tired, rusty and completely out of sorts. Our Scottish contingent all did, but he was the standout by far..

Look at Sinclair with the break..

    Get retired now Broony..

Nonsense he was solid once again. Few dodgy slips early on but he dominated those * in midfield.

A DELIGHTED Scott Brown says this season’s sensational title triumph feels just as sweet as every one of his previous six championship successes in Paradise.

The Hoops clinched their sixth successive league crown today with a 5-0 win over Hearts at Tynecastle.

It means Brendan Rodgers’ side have clinched the championship without tasting defeat, winning 28 of their 30 Scottish Premiership matches – a truly remarkable record.

And the captain told the official Celtic website that winning the title was always an achievement to be cherished.

He said: “It’s phenomenal to win a title and to win six-in-a-row is fantastic. It’s been great and that’s seven out of ten for me, which isn’t too bad! To win the league is the best feeling in football. You need to maintain that standard and be the top team week-in, week-out.

“To win a cup you can have five or six good games or be lucky in a couple of them, but to win the league you have to do it on a consistent basis and that’s what we have done this season and over the last six seasons.”

The skipper pointed to the dramatic 4-3 victory over Motherwell in early December as a defining moment in the campaign. Trailing 2-0 to the Steelmen at half-time, Celtic staged a fantastic fightback in the second period, with Tom Rogic rifling in a last-gasp winner to claim the three points.

Brown said: “To go 2-0 down and you just think everyone is going to crumble, but the gaffer changed the formation and tactics. We went to a 3-4-3 and we battered Motherwell in the second half. We got to 2-2, went 3-2 down and then scored the two goals we needed.

“At half time, we sat down and looked around the dressing room and everyone believed we could score two or three goals and get ourselves back in the game. That was the moment that really shaped our season.”

Although Celtic have now wrapped up the title, Brown is adamant that he and his team-mates will maintain their performance levels between now and the end of the season.

He said: “It’s been fantastic this season and we need to push on now. We just want to keep going on as long undefeated as possible. It’s a huge ask but we need to do it game-to-game, remain focused and make sure we prepare properly.”
