Genuinely, what the * are you talking about? Everyone knows he's got Celtic and Brendan. There isn't anyone who doesn't understand that.

 

An elite club and an elite manager.

If you think we're one of the elite clubs and Rodgers is an elite manager then fair enough. But you're deluded.

I think this post sums up Tierney's situation pretty ad nauseum.
And I think only the bar, goal posts and woodwork have kept Tierney's goals down.
One thing I would disagree on is that I thought Hutton could defend, at least he did with Rangers.

 

He's a boyhood Tim he's not like Virgil, Hooper etc using us a stepping stone

Hutton was a pish defender, he couldny attack either he couldny pass a ball 10 yards never mind cross a ball. He could run and he was fairly strong. Literally the only thing he done on the pitch was run up until he got about 40 yards from goal on the wing then wait for someone to go near him so he could dive for a freekick as his crossing and passing was that bad he just went down for fouls rather than risk it.

 

Celtic are the elite of any football club mate. The club where I want to see every player become a legend.

Maybe you see things differently and want to see Celtic players develop elsewhere but as a Tim, I want to see my favourite Celtic players at Celtic, winning Celtic trophies and playing for Celtic in the CL.

If you want to see our players playing in other teams then I again suggest you are on the wrong forum.

 

Nowhere near, he's only assisted 10 goals in 248 games since leaving the huns. Even when at the huns he only got 6 assists in his last season and a half. Tierney hasnt even played a season and a half for us and has 20 assists lol Hutton probably hasnt even assisted as many goals as Tierney in club football and he made his debut when Tierney was only months into starting Primary 1.

 

Anyone suggesting Brendan isn't one of the elite managers in football hasn't really been following this season never mind his whole career so far.

£10m for KT? That would just be his wages.

 

I don't think anybody can say Brendan isn't in the elite club, as far as managers go, that would indeed be a fallacy.
But, I think the days of us being an elite club are far gone since the days of Big Jock and the Lisbon Lions.
Nostalgia is nice I like it, but I also like to keep my feet on the ground. As regards managers, I like my managers to be rough and ready, I am not so keen on the smoothie type.

 

Yet you call yourself after a guy who managed us that was smoother than diarrhea?

 

I don't remember the good doctor being a smoothie.
He had one of the most exciting Celtic teams of my lifetime.

 

lets be honest at the very least barcelona, real madrid and bayern munich are far and away more elite than us, they can offer everything we can and more, then you have juventus, psg, the bigger english sides who you would realistically have to say are too.
