He's one who is supposed to be a creator going forward but * me, that was brutal. Kept fluffing his lines when in acres of space..

Did play one nice ball for Sinclair though..

Careful what you wish for as although he was terrible (in my opinion), we were actually worse when Kouassi came on..

We were worse when the subs came on. Nothing surer.

Needs to be more direct/ruthless. Start hitting shots from 25 yards as he has the ability. Like a shrinking violet out there in the final third.

    Don't see what others do.

Squad player at best. Time and time again gets into good positions and is wasteful.

100 Celtic appearances after today I believe, so firstly CM needs congratulations for achieving that landmark.

I love watching CM when he picks the ball up and drives forward from midfield, his first 1-2 touches can often be outstanding.

I'd love to see him kick on and become more clinical in the final third, he finds himself in great positions (Brussia, Rangers last week, Dundee today) but without really hurting the opposition. Add the end product, and his place in the squad will be rightfully guaranteed.

    Has he been injured before?
He's a massive shitebag, pulls out of everything so wondering if that's the reason

He left Broony to get 2/3 on far too many time's..

I know it's not his game but he has to mix it up and get involved, otherwise he won't be..

Think he can have a future here but only if he's content with being a squad player. Can't imagine him ever being a regular first team starter but stranger things have happened.

Brendan seems to like him. And he does bring a certain energy. But from all accounts he had a poor game today. But overall he has staked his claim for the playing squad.

That's 100% Rodgers that, listen to him talk about the style, he wants measured passing back and forth, controlled patient play waiting for an opening.

The more he's played under Rodgers that's the style he's been going to, his natural game seems to be liking an odd pot shot. Infact more than an odd one.

Headless chicken all the time .
Always appears busy busy but generally does * all but in his credit he does score a few goals .
Not Celtic class a squad player at best .
Hopefully somebody will be stupid enough to make an offer for him .

Agreed. Good squad player but minus that Midas touch.Pleased for him that he made 100 appearances for us.
But to kick on, and to make an impact in the Champions League we need much better. it's so vital for us to have three excellent central midfielders.

He didn't take his chance today..

Drifts out of games too much to be an influential CM. He needs to learn to be more dominant or his chances will become rarer.

Not giving up on him yet but he needs to add consistency over 90mins.

He's played a lot under Brendan and if he hasn't got it by now, then I don't think we'll see it. By that I mean a complete 90 minute performance..

He is nice and shows some class in spells and moment's, but you can pretty much guarantee that he'll always drop out for spells and large parts of game's.... Especially when it's roll the sleeves up time..

I don't even no like him. He's alright, but just think it's an area we can certainly have better in waiting..

I thought he was ok. Couple of misplaced passes but other than that kept things ticking over. Certainly wasn't the worst.

Nothing wrong with being a squad player though, that's what we all see him as. Not seen one person calling him to be starting every week.

Why should we be hoping to sell him for a nominal fee? Tidy enough player, a Celtic fan and quite capable of putting in good performances. Was our best player at times under Ronny.

I really like him so my opinion is going to be biased but I think there was an outside influence that affected his game today.

Too many players were making bad passes in the final third. He wasn't the only one. Ok there was onee moment he kicked the ball out of the park which was bizarre. But when the front three are clicking you'll see a much better McGregor. I agree with Ak1, he has an excellent touch on him and although it doesn't always pay off when it does he's CL class no problem. I was so disappointed for him when he missed that chance against Borussia. But he's not a striker and I think he did bottle it. Well I was disappointed for us to be honest. It was a golden chance. But he's done more than enough for me to be convinced he's an excellent squad player and one we couldn't replace for the same money.

Not trying to spread the blame but Moussa was in a great position and instead of passing the ball to the guy behind Sinclair he tried to pass it into the box to Sinclair who was marked by two Dundee players while our other player was free about 20 yards out. That was a case of very bad decision making.

I seem to remember Tierney making some decent balls for Sinclair last week and he just ran out of position. It was very strange because they seem to have a very good understanding. I only mention it because players do make bad passes.

Also Sinclair made a fantastic run into the box on the right hand side and it looked as if it was going to be a certain goal but Moussa didn't make the space for the pass. That was another out of character move. All he had to do was take two steps back. Poor Sinclair had no one to pass too after a great opportunity.

Plus as much as I love Armstrong's form this season, he's been a revelation, I didn't read many comments talking about his corners that used to be mentioned quite often last season. He's was skying them way over the whole box. And why did he not take the free kicks? What on earth where do doing during those? I've never seen us look that confused at free kicks before. Plus he's been doing alright with them recently so I don't know what the fannying about was for.

I'm convinced McGregor gets more than his fair share of criticism. I don't think we can post videos in here but I've already mentioned it to Doctor in a thread. Check YouTube for the first goal against Hearts in the 4 0 game and the 5th, goal of the season against St Johnstone. His touch was very subtle but it was pure class considering the position he was in. That's the player I see when I think of him. In face when he does score a goal they are usually classics. He can place a ball in the corner like a pass. I just wish he was more consistent it's a shame.
