pish poor from the word go, yes it was a penalty but did we really deserve to win that game ? i dont think so, undefeated and we move on.

 

If we're serious about progressing in the CL, we need to address certain areas of the team.

Goalkeeper, right back, left back another centre half, a centre midfielder, a winger and another striker are all required.

 

demebele and sinclair both had very poor games today, and in the bigger picture these are the only two players starting today that brendan has signed, so it was always going to be tough when guys like that have off days, today kinda shows we need a few positions freshened up and also rogic back.

Can I just say Madden has previous against Celtic on penalty decisions:

1) GMS vs Dundee Utd back in 2014 he gives a pen and no one not even GMS appealed.

2) Isma Goncalves vs st mirren in 2013 at 2021 stadium player dives OUTSIDE the box he gives a pen double mistake, player then banned for simulation and madden demoted rest of season

3) wanyama in above match straight red - overturned.

4) Denies Celtic blatant penalty at Tananadice in 2015 commons clearly pulled back and in same game guy goes over top tackling griffiths straight red all day long not given.

That's just a few of his previous!

I said he could influence the result and he did.

But yes we where pish today but hopefully that's a wake up call for the Celtic players!

Come cup semi final we need to be up for it and be far enough head in scores that Maddens brotherhood cannot effect the outcome like he did today.

If our players had lunged into tackles the way they were do you think they would have stayed on the park. We had a poor day but in the same hand I thought we made it easy for them today.

 

Not that long ago a Hun said to me that for every game they have played us since the 5-1 they have got progressively better. I'd say we've been progressively worse. This is still the same team that Hearts pumped 4-0, they are there for the taking, but it seems our team gives them too much respect instead of going at them like the diddy team they are.

That would have been horrendous to lose our winning streak at home to them. That * Foderingham only seems to play against us.

 

Bless their wee celebrations at the end. Never seen a team celebrate officially being of out a title race

We missed Rogic badly today- I also think Simunovic should start ahead of Sviatchenko at the minute. We were really disjointed today. The pitch didnt help matters.

 

Not gonna argue the penalty. It goes either way when its so close to call. We should have created far more over the 90 minutes.

Their players put in some disgusting tackles, need to see the tackle of paddy roberts again, looked a sore one.

The penalty wasn't close to call. It was a blatant foul.

 

We were not playing our best today but we still dominated the game for the most part, they were aided that * Madden who let them fly in with the boot and obviously changed the game with the stonewall penalty.

Don't think there was any arrogance in our performance, just couldn't get anything flowing which can happen, and the pitch is absolutely shocking. Seems to be a nervousness about keeping the unbeaten run and it might be becoming a monkey on our back. I am not arsed about going a season unbeaten, hoping it isn't starting to make us become too cagey.

 

Only players that had a good game really were Armstrong and Gordon, both Dembele & Sinclair had shockers, we were incredibly complacent and at times seemed as though we had the mindset of just show up and we'll win. It's never that simple in this derby. Our fans were outstanding as usual, was pretty disgusted whenever hearing the scum support belting out their usual vile about child abuse and racism/secterianism. We should've had a penalty, and Miller should've been off for that two footed challenge, but that's no excuse, we should've put at least 3 past them today regardless of penalties or red cards.

To be fair i haven't watched it back. We got one we shouldn't have at St Johnstone. * happens.

 

I remember the days we used to celebrate any wee scraps we got off them whilst being well out the title race, it sure feels good having it the other way round.
