as supporters right now u suck

im sorry boys and girls but for the first time in about 3 years i went to see a game at parkhead the celtic v aberdeen game where i was hugely dissapointed.

where the * has the passion gone it was like having 30 odd thousand corpses in the stands.

we blame strachan(quite rightly so get him tae *) and the players(some need a good kick up the *) but you lot are not making things any better.

* knows when i shall be seeing another game as i dont get the time these days, but with that kind of displays from the team and supporters id get more excitement playing a game of pro evo or something

Try being at every home game and watching it happen......it's hard to get excited and cheer them on for 90 mins when you gradually get this sinking feeling that you're watching the same old tripe all over again.

 

You're entitled to your comments and opinion mate but as you said, that was your first game at CP in 3 years so I'm assuming that's your first time watching Strachan's Celtic at CP. I myself am overseas and can't attend regularly but I'd imagine those who do are pig sick of watching the same dross week after week, being told how good we were in possession etc and having numerous stats thrown at them, when they can see for themselves how stale and unimaginative our team has become. Personally speaking, every fan has the right to demand entertainment and enjoy his football and as such, when the team are playing *, he/she is entitled to sit on his/her hands and in perfect silence.

We all pay good money in one way or another to our club and expect to be entertained. As Strachan is always belting on about "the product", he should maybe take a step back and examine the product on offer at CP, as it's nothing to make me want to fly over and attend a match, as I did when MON was gaffer.

sorry mate but dont think you can exactly moan about the fans, after all its been your first game in 3 years, weve been there all along singing our hearts out but noone wants to join in these days

 

if you dont like it then dont go back, or only go back when we're winning you gloryhunter. fans can only support the team so much, people pay alot of money and travel a long way to matches and if the team are playing poorly then its hard to get excited. the crowd have to inspire the team and vice versa, its not a one way thing

 

the bears rite & so is cmilk bhoy ....... i can say in all honestyn hand on my heart........ in the 3 years the ginga midgets bin, there i think iv saw one game at parkhead, where iv came out n said " we humped that lot by playing good classy fitba" and that was against benfica in the C.L. weve two season books in our house and if im honest iv actually to force myself to go tae the games, whereas my saturday is my celtic day, and has bin for over 40yrs now. i cant stick strachan, i dont rate him, i dont think hes good for celtic, but i will still be there cheering on my beloved hoops even after strachans bin n gone. so dont question my passion for the club i luv, i want the best n strachan aint providing it ........ get me martin jol

 

What right have you got to slag the loyal fans that are there week in week out when you are the one who hasnt been there in 3 years? what a busy man you must be if thats the 1st time you have had a chance to go because "you've not had the time"... me thinks you went because of the cheap ticket and the free kids ticket??? So why don't you try actually getting to some matches and cheering us on instead of sitting at your computer slagging of the loyal ones.

we have tried in the past to lift them
it only really happens in cl games, it should against the huns but right now no one is confident of beating a * huns team

 

I agree with the thread title. The fans have become absolutley shocking at CP. Even in the Barcelona game at Cp this year the atmosphere was crap. That was a game when the team could have done with teh so called 12th man, but we sat on our hands and in teh 2nd half made the most noise for Ronaldinho and that * Henry when tehy went off.

I dont buy the fact that we go to be entertained. We go becase we love the club. Fans have went when we were * and will go again when we are *. They are not going for entertainment just because they love Celtic.

Fair enuf the team needs a good kick up the *, but I feel that the fans do aswell. I have had a season ticket since parkhead opened back up and the atmosphere even at the huns games is poor.

If you all want entertainment before you get excited then choose somewhere else to go.

i have followed celtic all my life, to be entertained is that too much to ask,were you one of the blind sheep that followed the old board simply because it was celtic?
the game has changed beyond recognition it costs whey too much not to expect entertained

Martin Jol isn't gonna be the saviour of Celtic. WGS will be. It's always harder to retain the title than win it. We've won two in a row now and I still believe we'll get three. We, as every team does, are going through a bad patch and we'll come out of it. I think losing to the Sheep will be a big wake up call to the players and we'll get back on track now. Try and have a bit of faith. As I've said before, it's not over til it's over.

 

you're right mate its not over till its over but why do you think its harder to retain the title than win it? surely the players have more experience, more confidence, the squad should have improved and they've been playing together longer

 

ur spot on cmilk ........ atmosphere against barca was electric but maybe they were delvin into their prawn sandwiches while we were rootin

well glory hunter i may be i suppose. i used to have a season ticket for us every season since the age of 12 now 29 and because of work commitments i can not get the time to go and see them as i am WORKING.

so get to * with your glory hunting pish ye *
