He's definitely starting to challenge Brown now.

Immense this season and definitely makes me feel much more confident when he's playing.

Stretch, Rogic, Erik, KTier or Brown. Or the entire team, really.

BROWN, the captain has been immense. If Sinclair stays fit, he could push him this season.

Hard one to call. For the first time in years there's about 5 I'd say. Eric, Broony, Rogic, Armstrong and even wee Shooders is tremendous this season.

Scott Brown, for me. All the other players have either missed games through injury or suffered a dip in form.

The captain has been there both delivering and driving performances regularly. It's especially nice to see him doing it after so many in Scotland were keen to write him off - again.

5 or 6 can genuinely be in with a shout. Shows how good we have been collectively.

Brown is the engine of the team and should get it. But Rogic creates those 'ya * dancer' moments and gets it.

    Bump.

You could make a case for about 5 or 6 different players this season. Brown was perhaps the best candidate for a while, and is still up there. Then Sinclair was maybe number 1. Now Dembele is ripping the league a new one.

I think Sinclair has brought the most out and out quality. Brown is still the backbone and heart and soul, and Dembele is on a different level since the New Year. Hard to call just one player tbh.

    Summer until January - Sinclair.

Dembele has been a man on a mission since the turn of the year. He could go and score another 15-20 goals before the seasons over.

I cant believe what im reading! Dembele is on a different plain to the whole of the rest of the team!
Ok, its hard to measure the worth of a defender or midfielder, but this guy is on 31 goals, has a minimum of 12 games to go, and with the sun on his back, i cant honestly see him finishing with less than 43/44 goals.....in his first season!!!!

So given how rare such numbers are in professional football, far less the SPL, how anyone say that Brown playing better than expected, or KT starting to show his potential, or Erik or Rogic or anyone for that matter playing well is anything near what this bhoy is doing is beyond me. He is head and shoulders the POTY.....no one comes close!

He should walk both titles. Put it this way, would KT or Rogic or Erik go for even half of what this guy will ultimately go for? They would be lucky to go for half of his value combined!!!

Pish argument. Tierney is a left back and the other 2 are years older. Strikers always go for more.

Dembele for POTY has plenty of arguments, that's not one of them. A players value doesn't mean they're automatically player of the year.

Dembele had a few off weeks last year but I think he's made up for it and then some recently. There's been more consistent players than him across the course of the season but nobody is putting in performances that rival his on his day.

    Dembele for me.
