Biggest waste of talent to come out of Scotland since Derek Riordan.

Eejit to think he is the most recent famous Celt. Wish it was wee Tierney that had put Barca to the the sword instead of Watt the clown.

Laughable. He's wasted his career as of yet and could count himself lucky if a team like Hearts or Aberdeen wanted him permanently.

That's a boy who is nowhere near as good as he thinks he is. He will probably make enough to be comfortable for life down there and for a lot of young players that's what it's about. Harry Kane saying he doesn't play for the money it's to win trophies. Aye right harry that's because you're on £100k a week

I never could take to him.

Always felt his potential was vastly exaggerated by many.

Could movement, decent size, decent ability to finish, but I agree with you completely. He never really did anything for me to say he was the next great striker. Now he's taken his career for granted and seemingly doesn't have the work ethic to make it. Could see him in the Scottish lower leagues in 3-4 years if he doesn't get his * together.

He held himself in the Champions League very well at 18, showed pace, strength, skill and a footballing brain.

He had a * lot of potential, loads of it. He * that himself though.

Totally agree. He played his part in giving us one of our best modern day results but lots of bang average players have scored against great teams. Don't think he looked particularly good out with that game and a game against Motherwell I think it was

So William Hill are paying Tony Watt to promote the Scottish cup? * is that about? Especially since the * took the opportunity to slaughter Scottish football.

Could have been the next best thing to a Charlie Nicholas of today's age Celtic.

Instead, he is a today's age version of Charlie Nicholas - a washed up wee * clinging on to past glory.

    *.

He must think he's the only player to have ever scored against Barcelona.

When he is an old man, sat in the pub covered in pish and sick, he will tell many a tale of his conquering goal v Barca.

That will be ALL he is remember for. A promising young man given his chance against the Champions of Europe, and one who let it go to his head an turned into a primadonna wee arseprick.

He deserves his downfall into mediocrity.

I have nothing but fond memories of Tony Watt at Celtic. That goal against Barcelona will always stand out, and he played some good games for us in the SPL too, I don't think we should have let him go.
It was the start of a downward spiral for his footballing career.

I would take him back in a shot if I thought Brendan could get the best out of him again.

Aye, that's right Doc - it's OUR fault Watt turned into an obnoxious wee * that thought he was slaying Barca on a weekly basis.

You are as deluded as he, although not as much of a *.

    Whatever you say Padmill :68:
Sometimes it just takes a sympathetic manager who understands you to get the best out of you. Football is just like any other workplace, if your face fits your in, if it dozen't you are out. I would say the same criteria existed for Riordan, Gravesen and Stokes, their faces didn't fit.
