It wouldn't surprise me tbh Dembele probably got a fair signing on fee as the transfer was peanuts.

Pretty sure Ronnie (like most of the recent Celtic managers) was on a rolling 1 year deal?
Cant imagine his staff being on longer.

Gamboa was undisclosed, I think DDV was the same?

The Dembele one is the one that skews it, the 500k to Fulham & PSG was compensation but any other fees are the subject or plenty of rumours. Did he or his reps receive a sweetner?

Regardless, who GAF. He'll repay that several, several, times over.

Yeh so we would have to serve him 1 years notice, which means it would have to have been agreed in may 2015.

Otherwise there is a payoff to negotiate.

For some reason I always thought that meant we just renegotiated at the end of each year, that deal seems to heavily favour the manager. Lennon could leave for free but we had to pay Ronny off?

As well as Dembeles sign on fee I wouldn't be surprised if Kolo got a pretty high one.

Either party needs to give the other one year's notice. In practice this shouldn't happen as you wouldn't want a manager who knows he is getting sacked once his year runs down, or one who the club knows is walking once the year runs down.

It DID happen in practice at Sevco, when McCoist served the notice in November 2014, and worked a month before being put on gardening leave and then later on engotiating a release. Then the same happened to McDowall.

What usually happens is the manager resigns or is let go, and they'd negotiate a pay off of more than 0 but less than a years salary. Lennon was unhappy, chances are he wanted to walk and the board weren't desperate to keep him, so didn't make him work his year's notice.

Lennon maybe got a payoff too, I'm not sure. Also possible Ronnie walked for nothing, but I'd be surprised if so.

31 - 61 million for the december reports. Thats not including what will come from the champions league money (further 30) and the added revenue that the second half will get.
We really could break 100m come end of season/summer reports. And to think last years summer reports had us at 52 million.

Just look what a feel good factor and champions league can do. Double our revenue and thats without any major sales.

So far it is small, but speculating to accumulate obviously does pay off. The fans will back the club if they club shows they have our interests at heart.

It does include signing on fees, you can tell that because you can see money being spent on it even in years we didnt spend anything on players that it must have been current players new contracts.

It will include match day revenue (pies, tickets etc) but not the tv revenue (I think) and certainly not the money directly from uefa for partaking - that gets given out end of the competition
