Read this back. It is specifically targeted at people who are gay like it is some exclusive thing they do that is a problem. You didn't say, 'I don't like the gay people who like to announce to everyone that they are gay'. You said that you have a beef with gays because of this thing that many people gay or not do. That's like me saying, "I have a beef with all physically fit people because I don't like those guys who tell everyone about their gym sessions"

 

No, it's an observation based on the many gay people I know through being friends with them or being a friend of a friend. It's "specifically targeted" as you say because the whole thread is about that subject. The same as my posts in Celtic chat are specifically targeted at Celtic fans and the ones I post in the Hun thread are specifically targeted at Huns.

 

Surely your beef is with them and not just gay people. Generalising from what you know in your own bubble is not exactly going to be an accurate observation.

Yes! but the thread isn't about dickheads in general, it's about homosexual, bisexual and transgender people, so why would I comment on something the thread is clearly not about? I shared an observation on gay people on a thread about gay people.

As for the "own bubble" comment, does that apply to you too?

In my opinion I couldn't care less what to people get up to or how they live their lives. What makes you think I even care about your meaningless existence? I have my own problems, planning my own life, and building my own future. Do whatever you want.

The arguments are always pretty * though. The one thing that annoys me about the gays is when they infer someone is gay because he is a lad - he's trying to hard not to be gay, so he must be gay, duh! Or that someone is gay but he just doesn't know he is yet! For the most part, this is projection; their own sexual insecurities being projected onto others.

Don't really get the natural debate either. People say that homosexuality is completely natural as it has been observed in animals. You would expect this kind of behaviour from animals; we are humans if I'm not mistaken. My dog * in the street and humps strangers in the park. I would be locked up in Laverndale by four o'clock for this kind of behaviour.

Never thought food and homosexuality could have been related but there you go.

You asked me how I knew it wasn't a majority. I showed you my opinion, backed up with facts and I took into account that I can't provide exact numbers for the attendance at one particular event. I even acknowledged that the attendance number is likely rounded up.

Wrong again. I used statistics from a survey, along with the UK population, and then used those numbers to justify why I thought it wasn't the majority of gay people at pride. A fairly logical thought process, as opposed to the garbage you posted about the 'beef' you had with gay people.
