Kieran Tierney

Whenever i watch Ryan Bertrand or Luke Shaw they ALWAYS get in to good positions and * crosses up. Catching practise for the keeper or just badly over hit. Kieran Tierney just does not do that. His final ball is ridiculously consistent and he has to be the best British full back in the game right now.

 

That will be Steven Thompson on the sevco boycott list now.

On sportscene and just declared (rightly) that Tierney is the best talent scotland has and has produce in at least 10 years.

Not a peep of the 6million rated McKay.

Asked if Dembele is worth "20 or 30 million or whatever it is" how much is Tierney worth? Replies "every bit as much"

Knew the * wasn't all that bad.

And Tierney truly is worth all that.

 

I would like to see him develop a bit more physically. He's very slight. Which could lead him to be injury prone. The talent is there he just needs to fill out a bit. Big potential though.

 

Can you not see the definition in the legs & the upper body has filled out as well since his injury imho.
His speed looks to have increased markedly as well I think.

 

Kieran Tierney is absolutely brilliant Up with the very best young fullbacks produced in these islands for decades . The great thing is that his manager Brendan Rodgers knows & understands that & has Celtic playing in a formation to get the best out of Kieran . Celtic attack mainly in the front right hand corner . Most of our attacking players drift towards the right leaving probably Sinclair & Tierney with the left flank mostly to themselves . This means when Celtic play the ball left, Tierney can tear up the left flank using his amazing speed & cross the ball in as his team-mates return to more central positions .
Today was a wonderful day for Celtic full-backs as Gambroa also played fantastically well. In fact I would have Tierney , Gambroa &Briton as our top three players today

 

He's probably one of the strongest 19 year olds to have ever played for us. Would make McGeady, Maloney, Forrest and Henderson looks like school kids.

 

I can't remember seeing him being physically bullied on the park, why gain muscle and lose a bit of pace when he's already strong enough?

 

Its Tierney who does the bullying.

 

Love the wee man! Always picks the right cross. That one for Sinclair were he curved it straight to him, took the defender and keeper right out the game, had no chance!

Couldn't disagree more in regards to him being slight

 

Was a beauty, Sinclair should never have missed that probably didnt expect such perfect cross.

 

Trying to think of a better lb and cant do it,quite simply world class and only 19

 

That's because they're 19 year old.

 

Was a challenge he made in the first half (can't mind the hearts player involved) but he went in 50/50, won the ball, and flattened the old boy who tried to foul him. Brilliant strength in the tackle. I get what you mean that he looks slightly buy physically he's as strong as any other SPL player for me.
