I thought after his booking and how the match was going in the first 30 mins, he was a certainty to get a red card. All credit to him, though. He's matured so much it's unreal. Once he started clicking, the rest of the team did.

Yeah i thought he was getting himself drawn into the physical aspect of the game with the danger of him gettin a red, thankfully it never happened and he put in yet another powerhouse of a performance today.

    Thought he was immense today.

The booking, (like the drop balls) was definitely a call to arms for the rest of the team.
Got the whole team going, and was right amongst it with the celebrations at the end.

    A proper captain!

    100%

The challenge for the booking was quite intentional.

He made it knowing who was reffing; that he left himself on a relatively early yellow and that basically his game today was going to be judged on it.

That's how I saw it. A lot of folk were obviously going to jump on him for it but he did it hoping it would shake the rest of team into upping their game.

People will say the equaliser was the turning point but I honestly think when Brown took out Tavernier and started hounding the team was the turning point.

    Immense again.

Aye very good point, I sensed that at the time and it was clear he was saying to everyone around him that they all needed to step up the performance and he was going to lead by example, a true captain

Yup, that tackle round about 25 mins where he done one of them and then started pointing out team mates, that for me was the turning point little things like that change games.

Can always count on you mate. :giggle1:

    * brilliant from the Captain, he was immense all days. Stood right up those *, not because he thought their players would be up for it but because their troglodyte fans would demand it.

Got in their faces today right when we needed it.

Agree, I think after that it was only a matter of time before we scored the forward momentum and energy we produced, pressed a lot better.

He can actually make dominating midfield look quite effortless at times such is his positioning and strength, his whole mental attitude just says he owns the area of the pitch he is in.

I * loved that booking and him going mental at the rest of the team. That is what you want from a captain in a game like that and the most important thing is it worked.

The team are * scared of him. I've never seen a Celtic player as respected by his team mates.

Some * genetic diversity amongst their support wouldn't go amiss.

The booking was a bit of a turning point and he got the reaction from his players. Did the same with Scotland under Burley v Macedonia as well. Got in the other team's faces.

    What a * attitude!! Brilliant.

Bounceball and Kenny Miller is all "we'll give you it back Scott"

Broony just says * that I'm winning a bounceball 30 yards from your goal instead!
