More intimidating looking at those ugly *, we should put blindfolds on our players so they aren't mentally scared, if we do that then It might only be 1 or 2 nil to us.

Worst case scenario is a draw, I really can't see them beating us.

If Rogic isn't fit then the natural replacement is Armstrong for the no.10 role. His passing, movement and goal scoring is superb and will be too much for the Huns. Not sure who I'd prefer McGregor or Biton beside Broony as neither fully convince me, Henderson is my preferred choice but maybe not ready for it.

Would be happy to see Moussa start against these lot and if we need a goal then go two up top second half. He should be itching to start a game now Leigh has had a run which should fire him up. A fresh, hungry Dembele will scare the * out of their shambles of a defence.

    3-0 the good guys :ynwacelti

    I'd go....

    Gordon
    Lustig Erik Jozo Izzy
    Brown Armstrong
    Forrest Roberts Sinclair
    Griffiths

    Think Brendan will go....

    Gordon
    Lustig Erik Jozo Izzy
    Armstrong Brown McGregor
    Forrest Griffiths Sinclair

This is of course on the assumption Rogic doesn't make it (Which I don't think he will).

Griffiths deserves to start over Dembele for this one, as much as I think Dembele is a better player and striker than Griffiths when both at the top of their game Dembele's form recently just shouldn't allow him to start this match as it's sending out the wrong message, although I can see why Brendan will be tempted to start Dembele due to his record against them. He'll still get his chance from the bench regardless.

Rogic is a huge miss for us and the last few games without him have showed that, he just adds a different dimension to our play in attack due to his skill and ability to create something out of nothing be it a goal or assist. Arguably the biggest loss we could have suffered going into this game as we don't have anyone who comes close to replacing him behind the striker, this is exactly why I felt Commons should have been given games to maintain match sharpness for exactly this situation.

The thought of McGregor going into this game doesn't fill me with confidence, we have a few bottlers in our team on the big occasion and for me guys like McGregor, Gordon, GMS, Armstrong etc wilt in such conditions.

We will see how it goes but I don't think it will be as comfortable as others think, they may be * but they are still hard to beat at home as they haven't lost at home for something like 35 matches. If we can go 2-0 down to Motherwell at Fir Park then sadly the same can happen at their midden if we're caught cold and this time we won't have the class of Rogic to bail us out.

I think we'll win 2-1 and going 19 points clear with a game in hand going into the New Year will do very nicely.

Why not just play Roberts behind the striker?

Surely Roberts is a better option there than Armstrong, McGregor, Christie or Henderson?

Their best chance of an upset is nil nil IMO if they park the bus.

I can see it being as comfortable as the Hampden game personally.

Other than Partick Thistle, have they scored more than 2 goals against anyone in a game this season?

    Edit - In the league.

Can only think of Kilmarnock but that doesn't really count because, well, it's Kilmarnock.

Their players will be * it. Crowd will be on their backs as soon as we settle into our rhythm and they are chasing shadows. They will be psychologically damaged by us mauling them twice already this year and the site of Dembele, Sinclair , Forrest , Broon , Griff , Roberts and Armstrong warming up will give them the fear.

They'll park the bus and try to hit us with the long ball to Miller or Garner, our defence will lap that up.
Really hoping for a 4-0 but think it will likely be 2-0.

I feel the same way man, * it throw him into it see what he does. Didn't McStay get thrown into the deep end in his first game against them, scored a goal too didn't he?

Rodgers is definitely not the type to risk any player, especially not in a game like this. As much as I love the guy, to put Rogic into a game against that mob at Ibrox as his first game back from injury would be utter madness. Reckon there's a good chance Bitton could start (sadly), Armstrong in the hole. In any case, we should give them a seeing to, no matter who is on the pitch.

Certainly did, albeit a six yard tap in into an open net, but a solid debut from a legend all the same.

I forgot about Charlie Nicholas scoring in his debut against them, that is the dead Rangers we are speaking of, of course.

Christie just needs to get his first touch sorted and fine tune a few bits and he might be ok, would rather not start him Saturday though.

Genuinely not got a great feeling about this now, dunno why cos they're * but I hate these games.
