Really upsetting to hear about the windscreen wipers. Life can be brutal.

Does this mean Last Christmas will be number 1 every year now? Weird of all the days to go it's Christmas day when everyone's listening to your tune.

I find it all quite sickening actually. I hate all the stuff about a year (2016)as such....but it has been awful.
Personally i was a huge fan of Bowie, Terry Wogan, Victoria Wood, Caroline Aherne, loved Ronnie Corbett and now Georgie boy has gone too. It really is very tiring seeing so many talented and well loved people disappear over such a short space of time.:54:

The weird thing about it is that prior to yesterday, it was the UK's biggest ever song NEVER to reach number 1.....i think it will lose that tag very very soon.

Caroline Aherne died this year and now the actress who played her nana in the Royle Family has died. R.I.P Liz Smith

Great comedy actors and a brilliant show

at least old nana Liz smith has had a good innings to 95....ironic that I watched the royal family the other night when she was in the living room in the bed and thought that she was a great actor along with Ricky Tomlinson going tonto with her stealing his remote control batteries for her wee wee fan .....as for George Michael ....meh

I was at the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert and both George Michael and David Bowie were the real stand out performers (as much as any stand-in for Freddie could be). It's quite saddening that they're now both gone.

Worth mentioning that while Bowie sang songs that he'd already performed numerous times, George Michael stepped up to the plate and gave a brilliant rendition of Somebody To Love, in addition to the more intimate '39.

    RIP gents.
