The thing is people get easily insulted.

Maybe we should have a top 10 banned insults.:icon_mrgreen:

I hope you mean in terms of the domestic league?

Spartak game was amazing, Benfica game was amazing, Shaktar game was brilliant and we beat the European champions. I'll treasure every single one of those games having been there as well as the opportunity to go to the Camp Nou and watch the hoops play.

I have mixed feelings about CPL.We where outplayed in most of the games and our strength of character along with the amazing support from the stands got us through.

Of course the feeling was amazing against Milan,Shakktar,Benfica,Spatrak and even the two we scored against barca. However how good I felt at these moments I equaly felt as bad about our poor away games. So mixed feelings.

However yes I was meaning the League.

McGeady's performance against Benfica at home was majestic, we also weren't outplayed away at Benfica there were chances to win that. Shaktar destroyed us away and Milan were simply better but at home we nullified them and took our chances. Irregardless anyway the way we won those games is the reason i love Celtic so much, the fans went absolutely wild and they're some of the best moments i've ever witnessed as a Celtic fan.

If we win the league it'll be on the back of 3 good Rangers games i.e. the games everyone remembers so it will be a season to remember should we win it.

The only thing I could dis-agree on m8 is Benfica away it was backs to the wall stuff most of the night.

I sincerely hope you are proved correct about your last point.

TB was a failure as a manager. But hey he bleeds green.

HE changes my opinion.:50:
Will three in a row do that for you ?
I think your opinion of TB is way off the mark btw and your "bleeds Green" remark has some hidden connetations but we'll leave that issue for a different thread methinks.:86:

You ask "will 3 in a row do for me?" and my honest answer has to be no! 99.9% of Celtic fans and 100% of other football fans know Gary Cadlwell is a donkey.
Strachan has said "Gary is a right good player". and this scares me to * because im convinced if Caldwell is in the team HE is the biggest chance the Huns have got of winning it.
The fact Strachan rates him proves to me 100% that Strachan hasnt got a clue about Central defenders or the art of defending.
Its Strachans fault that Caldwell plays no one elses, dont anyone use the excuse " Well Caldwells the best of a bad bunch" either, because Strachan had ample time to bring in quality or even just better than we've got, but was ADAMANT "We were strong enough in this area".

When a player like Balde plays (and there are a few Bobo's about) teams in the SPL respect and fear our defence. Strikers * themselves when their backs are to goal wondering if Big Bobo is gonna molicate them. His presence alone puts forwards off there game.

Caldwell is like Longshanks gay son Edward the 2nd in Braveheat.
"Just his * presence" ecorouges every * to attack us.:47:

So you see mate, I cant agree Strachan should be in charge because i personaly dont trust his judgement and have enough proof to quantify my opinion.

But i do support the team and at the moment Strachan is in charge.:celt_2:

You didn't answer my point about the current squad being better than TB's squad. If you think that is the case then surely you must review your opinion that Strachan can't spot a player ? You are obviously entitled to your view of TB's reign but manager's are measured by trophies - that's just how it is. TB won one League Cup. That is not success, it is failure.

I think Caldwell is gash and I share many of your views on Strachan however if a manager wins every title race he takes us in to then surely that must override your displeasure at the inclusion of a player you don't rate. If Caldwell's inclusion tarnishes 3 titles in a row then I'm sorry Chucky but that is an unhealthy fixation on Caldwell.

When a manager joins Celtic or Rangers point 1 on page 1 of his job description is 'win the league'. If Strachan continues to do that then you, and I, are just going to have to accept that he is doing his job pretty successfully.

The TB debate is for another time and another thread because i dont do comparisons.

I dont think your understanding my meaning mate. Theres no fixation with Caldwell as such.:56:
If we win the league the fact Caldwell played wont spoil the win in any way for me. I'll be jumping about and congratulate Strachan for his achievement.
However the fact Strachan would have got away with winning the league in spite of picking Calamity Caldwell will concern me even more.

Why? Because Strachan will keep him for the following season as he will have no doubt been covinced by the fact he still won the league as villification that "Gary is STILL a right good player".

I'm willing to give you a chance, but if someone has taken offence to something you didn't mean to be offensive a quick PM to the person would clear things up. This 'I think you're having a go so I'll have a go back' can sometimes get a bit over the top. It's fun sometimes to get things out of your system, but take it to the GM Forum where you can say what you like with no comeback. :86:

Fair does mate:50:
As for the GM forum i'll give that the bye. I left Celtic Minded because they wanted to charge and i'll do the same here if it becomes compulsory.
My reasons for this will remain my own however but its nowt to do with i cant afford it:84:

I think you should re read what i wrote mate. I think TB'S side with PVH and the Facist would rip any of Strachans sides a new *.
I said the current celtic squad is better than the current Hun squad mate and this time Burns would have the upper hand because it wasnt an even playingfield when TB faced up to Waldo back then.
Waldo had a far superior squad and resources to TB this time it would be an even surface.

Results are just part of the bigger picture when supporting a club and i make no more presumptions on what fans think than you do btw.
We just move in different circles methinks.
