Considering the questions have a diverse representation of the green area I think it spreads more on that. Like, for example I know majority will be left wing which isn't a surprise given the Celtic support is generally leftist, from center to far left, which really depends who you encounter. What really gets me is who believes in statism/authoritarianism than freedom/libertarianism. I suspect the hardcore Socialists on this forum would sit right in the red and maybe further up.

You're similar to me then, although I'm probably a good deal more to the left than you economically. I'm only guessing but I think the economic answers carry more weight in this test than the social answers and that's why the results come out the way they do.

Hmmmmm I'm not sure I agree. I would reckon the hardcore Socialists would end up in the green section because their answers would strongly support things such as gay rights, no death penalty etc.

Have done this loads. Seem to be in the blue the last few times I've done the test though would expect to be far more towards Libertarian than the results show.

So how exactly do you get into the purple quadrant?

You must have to a psychotic Tory who thinks people should work for 2p an hour, the rainforests should be wiped out and sweatshops built in their place, anyone who commits a crime is automatically executed, disabled people should be put down at birth and that war is great and should be engaged in at every available opportunity.

It imagine you would need to hit a lot of "strongly agree/disagree" options to get in the top half, and then depends what way you go would sway you to the right.
I assume if we have all done majority agree/disagree we tend to fall more liberal and left.

Must be a strange set of answers you need to give. Honestly never seen anyone in that quadrant. Maybe the ones that were just didn't admit to it. :giggle1:

I've done this test about 3 or 4 times and pretty much always get the same result.

Do you see yourself as on the left or as slightly authoritarian?
