I've not played poker in ages. I was getting bored with it and was losing a lot because of it so I decided to cash out and leave it for a while.

That must have been about a year or more ago.

So I log in today to have a wee look about with a view to maybe making a deposit and starting it up again when I happen to notice I've got these credits sitting (you get so many credits for playing cash hands or for joining a tournament) so I joined a satellite tournament with the credits.

Half hour later I won a ticket to the $11 Sunday Storm. Unregistered from the tourney and I'm now solvent again on my poker site. :giggle1:

Quick heads up for anyone who has a mobile contract with Vodafone , or probably any provider (?), I have just renewed my monthly contract (upgraded my phone) and because I said I was thinking about leaving them, they have allowed me a 40% discount on the publicised price. I got this discount on my mobile phone and the mobile wifi device I also have :36: Newer phone, more allowance and pay less, only downside is I now have a 2 year contract as opposed to 1 year but heyho.

That's enough to qualify for this thread :84:

Stop * in egg cups, and more importantly, don't boast about it on line :56:

Good for you mate. If you feel the need to stop and are able to do it then fair play.

I count myself quite fortunate that I never get too carried away with it. I do maybe 5-10 quid on coupons every Saturday and that's it.

Feels good winning a ton if I'm lucky, but feels just as good knowing I've only lost a fiver when it doesn't come in.

I get too silly with it. Will build it up nice and slow, then bang. Can lose it all in one game chasing or a couple around the same time..

    No good..

I'd rather just leave it alone mate. Feel much better when I've no bet and you can't enjoy the game's when your watching..

New man. Early new year's resolution..
