Was about to suggest either him or Mechele. Both would be great additions.

*Both meaning one or the other

Kolo was always likely to be a short term measure, but his experience and composure has really helped Brendan raise certain standards across the squad since he's arrived.

Goals conceded are normally a collection of mistakes.
    Yesterday
1-Who was supposed to press McManus?
    2-Where was Kolo's cover?
3-Was Gordon positioning or decisions adequate?
4-Should Lustig have won a free kick?
5-Was the pass to Lustig a good decision, or executed well enough for him to retain possession?

Yesterday Kolo's body shape was momentarily and fractionally exposed superbly on two occasions, but it was telling Brendan was happy to communicate his team instructions through Kolo in the last 10 mins of the game.
Ultimately if we hadn't conceded 2 exceptional goals, it would have been just another boring 0-4 win!!

Don't know about Mechele. He seems to be left out completely this season, not sure whats the reasoning behind that.Maybe some sort of injury ,but I do remember him being highly rated.

Brendan almost needs 2 squads now.
A- for Europe, later rounds of cups and the top 2/3 domestic opponents
B- a younger (home grown) pool of players who can be rotated at will to beat the bottom half of the SPL and the early rounds of domestic cups.

Eric and Jozo as a partnership have demonstrated they can cope domestically against the best opponents, but now have to step up as a partnership in Europe (I'm optimistic, if we can keep them together)
And I have no doubt that Kolo, Lustig and Eoighan can perform adequately this season as centre defenders in pool B.

Boyata and Efe though would worry me against a pool C!!

Saw that as well on his transfermarkt profile. Seems as if his career as stagnated a bit since we were continually linked with him a couple seasons back. I know the Bjorn Engels is another highly rated CB out of Brugges, but is looking to be a bit out of our range. I dont know enough about Mechele but a if he ends up moving on he's worth a look at least, still only 23.

Caught under the ball twice, but other than that he showed his good pace and solid tackling.

He's always had those moments in his game and always will.

Big lazy * doesn't even come out to warm up :56:

In the Sevco game he didnt even come out at HT, mind noticing it and thinking too hes been on the bench for about 2 month but even at Celtic Park I sit in near where they warm up during the game and never see him coming out either.

Kolo doesn't warm up for the game, the game has to warm up for Kolo.

I wouldn't be overly surprised if we keep him as a defensive coach.

Brendan's probably gave him the middle of the season off for putting in a lot of hard work in to the start and shoring our defence right up, probably does a lot of defensive training work with the younger guys on the training pitch and that as well.

He's hardly featured since Gladbach at home when he was shocking but I don't think it's much to do with his performances more just his age and the work he's already done this season. No. Doubt we'll see him in the run in at the end of the season.

As someone said I could see him signing on as a coach for a season or 2 after this.

Want to see more of him. He was poor against Motherwell in the first half, and made 2 mistakes against BMG. But other than that he's not put a foot wrong.

I thought he was brilliant at the start of the season, it was like having 2 Broonys on the pitch.

He will come in for a few games between now and the end of the season.

I'd start him in the Scottish cup game. He has done his job though. Helped us over the line in the CL and is a massive influence in the dressing room by all accounts. At this stage in his career that is what it is all about.
